IMPORTANT: GOLD/ SILVER GLITCH ITEMS

i am working on making a word document containing lots of info about pokemon gold/ silver glitch items. i will send it very soon. there wernt as many glitch items as i thought but thats okay, keep checking back for more info (i will post it within a day or so)!

Interesting anyway I found more F6 says it's Hm05 but when you use it it acts like ypu use a pc when you close it it says no windows available for popping then crashes

The Teru-Sama is the GS Ball, never meant to leave the Japanese version of G/S. You can give it to the man who you give Apricorns to and the next day he will hand it back to you. Then you go into the Ilex Forest and push A on one of the Celebi shrines. Celebi will appear @ Lv.5.

i know its been a while (i have been busy) but i found lots of glitch HMs! after torchickens found the HM06 glitch (see "no windows available for popping" topic) i tried the others and they are glitched! the code is 01??BAD5. replace the ?? with hex number. the items are:

HM01 (hex F3): it askes "give nickname to HM01?" select yes and you nickname the last pokemon you caught. when finished, the game resets and almost everything is white! if you press cancel when it asks you, it will show a strange picture for a fraction of a second, then restart.

HM02 (hex F4): it does nothing

HM03 (hex F5): puts the glitch pokemon "?" in your party  ! if the party is full it goes in the PC box.

HM04 (hex F6):game resets with funky colors

HM05 (hex F7): freezes game

HM06 (hex F8): see the forum topic "no windows avail-able for popping"

HM07 (hex F9): makes item menu glitched. the more you try to use it, the weirder it gets  ! try exiting menu at different times to get different results.

every other HM acts like a normal G/S glitch item: you can attach it to a pokemon and it glitches the status bar in battle. all the TMs have similar effects to the ones listed above. expect more info on glitch items soon! PS:the staff really should update the profile info so that people can have a "favorite glitch item". cause' mine is HM07!

Some clarification on this: It's actually quite different.

Teru-Sama is nothing but a placeholder item (similar to how Missingno. is a placeholder Pokemon for unused hex slots). Its description is "?", it can be sold for a high price, and it has nothing to do with the GS Ball.

The GS Ball item exists only in Crystal. It cannot be obtained in the English version of the game. The Japanese version allowed you to get it via the Mobile Adapter and give it to Kurt. He would examine it, then give it back the next day. After that, you could put it in the Ilex Forest Shrine to have a level 30 Celebi appear.

Interestingly enough, the text for the event was translated, and the Celebi event can be unlocked via Gameshark in the English version (but remember, only in Crystal).

You can do the entire thing in Crystal. It isn't just a text translation.

Teru-Sama is only a placeholder. Since there are 256 slots for items (well, 255 since 0 represents no item), all the unused slots are named "TERU-SAMA" and have a description of "?". In Crystal, four Teru-Sama were replaced by the items Clear Bell, Egg Ticket (which is used only in the Japanese version but exists in the English version), GS Ball, and Blue Card. This is why if you attach one of these to a Pokemon (I hear it can glitchily happen in Stadium 2) and trade it to G/S, the item will turn into a glitched Teru-Sama.

To tell you the truth I know nothing about Teru-suma. I have only heard of it. I have done the GS ball event though.

So one of the TERU-SAMAs in Silver is a GS BALL in Crystal... Which one? And if you traded it to an American Crystal, would you still be able to preform the Celebi events?
