If you ask me, I think Nintendo probably did all this stuff just to mess up people like us who use Action Replays or Gamesharks. I mean, come on, they freakin' name the parts of the map that can't be acessed The Mystery Zone!! Why else would they do something like that if they thought we would play the game normally!? They also probably made the new DP Box to make it look like you can catch it!!

A valid theory, but maybe not. Maybe they called it the Mystery Zone so they they knew easierly which areas weren't finished. They could have had their own reasons somewhere along the lines.

Well, if I recall correctly they are undestroyable without more GS codes, but on the other hand you would have to use GS codes to get it there, so yeah. They can be a mark though, a way of telling if a dude hacked.

Well, If you know something exists, what do you call a placeholder? Make a list of places, where should the game read from if it hasn't been named? If there is an error, confusing the poor game is just going to make it worse.

And Bad EGGs, they are caused by any pokemon with incorrect parameters. It can actually happen due to corruption, which happens to normal people playing the game normally.

And if all that is wrong programmers get bored. One programmer I know of puts witty comments and debates in his source code because he knows no one will ever read it, and this is at a professional level. He also put an error message saying that "If you do that again I will stab you with the screwdriver".
