R/B/Y Glitch Dimension!

PEOPLE!
I'VE DONE IT!
THE THING YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR....

TAH-DAH!

THE R/B/Y GLITCH DIMENSION!


You just need to:

1) Do the Walk Through Walls Trick

2) Head for the Pokémon League.

3)Walk Through it's Wall (NOT through the door)

4) You'll be in a quite glitchy Indigo Plateau...

5) Now, head towards the pool...

6) Fish...

7) Fight any pokémon

8) The Indigo Plateau will become normal

9) Head to the exit (South)

10)Do NOT exit through the door, but through the wall.

11) Welcome to Glitch Dimension.


NOTES:

- Glitch Dimension is, pretty much, a glitched version of the real world (tiles get quite different, although the game interprets them in the same way as it did before)

- If you fight ANY Pokémon, you'll be instantly OUT of Glitch Dimension.

- It doesn't harm the game in any single way. It's just a cool place to visit.


So, am I great or what?

Sounds good, But it would be better if you didn't need gameshark.

That's how I did it (I don't really have a Gameshark, so...)

By the way, the reason why this happens:

(My own explanation) The Pok?mon league area was designed in a different way when compared to the rest of the game areas. What you think is a closed environment (like the interior of a house) is actually an open space (like a route). The thing is, when you enter the Pok?mon league BUILDING, and you leave it (right after the guy who demands your Boulderbadge), the game recalculates the graphic data, and a bunch of crazy tiles (like the ones you can see in the glitchy indigo plateau, in step 4) becomes the Pok?mon league as we know it. By walking through the wall, the game can't really recalculate any thing, so it becomes the glitchy Pok?mon league. Once you fight a pok?mon, the game will recalculate the graphic data, which will restore the Pok?mon league to it's normal state, although you can STILL walk through walls. So you go back, walk through the wall again, and Voil?!, the game calculates the normal tiles like if they were Pok?mon league's, which results in a quite funny glitchy effect.

It's not really useful (well, Glitch City isn't either, and everybody seems to love it, so...), but it helps us comprehend better the inner workings of the game,

Yeah, it's a bit like that! You reach the roof (which is quite glitchy, actually), and then you get access to the glitched Pok? League.

You dont have to fight wilds, you can also restore the graphics by looking at pokemon stats, or your own stats, aka your money and badges.

The area uses a diffrent tileset, it only loads the tile set when you warp in and out of buildings, thats why you get that

Exactly, Vitro... The game just loads the tileset again properly (like when you fly out of glitch city. Or perhaps not). Still, I noticed there's some equivalence between the normal World and the Glitch dimension i.e: in glitch dimension, the water tiles are just like the water tiles in the hall of fame. So, the game just interprets that set of data (the tile) in different ways, although it's just the same one.

This might be a bit confusing, but whatever. Guess you get it.

You could... The thing is, using the non-Gameshark way of walking through walls, you can't turn it on/off like that. So my way is handier for these people, really.

Although this is cool, its not really the Glitch Dimension. Its just a variation on Glitch City. Should this be added to the Glitch City page on the wiki or just moved into glitch discussion?

I'd have to see screenshots to decide, because his description of it makes it sound like a "Glitch Dimension".
