How to get all R/B/Y/G/S/C glitches (no gameshark)

Well (I always start my posts with well) I've been gone a while and recently i have been playing my yellow version over. I started wondering has anybody ever sucessfully acheived that really long glitch we came up with to get an ????? with the hex of FF. I have gone through the forums and have yet to find a confirmation of it. Could some people try to test it? You'll need Yellow, Red or Blue, and Crystal. To make it quite a bit simpler i will post the full instructions. However you will need to look up the individual intruction on some glitches. Here goes:

1.   On you r/b catch an A.
2.   Take advantage of the rare candy duplication on r/b and raise A to lv.254.
3.   Trade A to yellow.
4.   Raise one more level and have it learn TM55.
5.   Trade A back to r/b.
6.   On your yellow catch 4_4 hy.
7.   Evolve 4_4 hy into Q (it will be nicknamed TM55).
Oh yes. Those require a cheating device sorry. These new instructions will work without one.

1.   On your yellow catch a u.
2.   Get u to lvl 62
3.   It will learn TM55 (replace its THIRD move with TM55).
4.   While performing the ditto glitch for 4 4 hy use growl on the ditto twice.
5.   You can now catch a 4 4 hy at lvl 5
6.   Raise it one more lvl.
7.   It should evolve into Q.
8.   Trade Q to r/b to get charizard M?.
9.   Use the switch moves glitch to transfer the move TM55 to a pokemon that has yet to have been evolved. You will need charizard M? to do this.
10.   Evolve the pokemon that has TM55 as a move.
11.   Trade that pokemon over to crystal.
12.   Use the Bad Clone glitch to get ????? with the hex of FF.
13.   Use the ????? to get all kinds of glitches on r/b/y.
This also means you now only need yellow and crystal. I've successfully done steps 1-10. My crystal is not ready for the glitch to be done. Also why do you have to have completed the pokeleague to perform the bad clone glitch?

Important Notice: When you do perform the Johto Cloaking Glitch the FF ????? needs to be at top when going into the trading room but once you are in move it to the bottom. Also you need to add 39 to the johto pokemon's hex to determine what the end result will be.

I've done every step but 12. Also please don't use gameshark to shortcut to 12 because i would like total confirmation. Also if infact you succeed you will be the first to obtain certain glitches without using outside devices on the american versions. which is really cool. I'll try to make another attempt at it soon.

Edit: My crystals save file is gone and my yellows is halfway through the storyline so its going to be a while for me to try.

Ok, I have succesfully replaced the battery on my crystal. My yellow is all set up. My crystal is at the lake rage part of the story line and I'm too busy to play through it. Do ya'll think it will really matter if I go ahead and use my gameshark just to get all the badges and beat the pokemon league? I do not beleive that this will affect the glitch at all. If I can use my gameshark I should have this confirmed by wednesday (if not today).

I have just checked the hex list and realized that with the added hex of 39 only the pokemon with hex of 211, 213, 214, 220-223, and 230 onward will be available via Johto Cloaking Glitch. That's 25 that are not available. However some of those 25 are already available via evolution and even more with the 32 that will be available. It is also possible that we may find a way around the whole add 39 to the hex thing.

I think I will go ahead and use my gameshark to speed through the game. I'll try to have the results either today or tomorrow.

I know i double posted. Ever heard of a breakthrough? That takes 3 years...

Edit: No wait you should be able to get all the glitches. If you were to trade a chikorita why would it not add 39 to the hex.

Trading G/S/C pokemon to R/B/Y, typically results in M/3TrainerPoke.

What do you mean? It will only be an 'm if you forget to move your ????? to the bottom or if adding 39 to the hex results in an 'm. If the pokemon's hex is 217 or higher (on g/s/c) I think this will also result in 'm. My gameshark is not working properly so this will be longer than thought. Also i can confirm if you trade a chikorita you will get an A(or was it a?). So granted this works all r/b/y glitch pokemon will be obtainable without gameshark. As long as it's possible to get a pokemon with TM54, TM53, and TM52 the other g/s/c glitches should be available. I also have another idea...

If i remember correctly, you don't need to take your "4 4 hy" down to level 5 either; catch it at level 7, it'll evolve just fine.

It normally would, but I think that it has to be at level 6 to evolve.  (I don't know why, that might have already been proven wrong)
