No Badges glitch

I just found this glitch  in my yellow version ROM. First put the have all badges code in the gameshark. Then battle brock. Save the game afterwards. It should say your name 0 badges and your pokedex.

I suppose this is probably because getting a badge after having full badges would loop it around to 0.

This glitch also works with the walkthrough walls code. You simply have to walk to anytown, to any gym and battle any gym leader.

I'm pretty sure this is just like leveling up at level 255. The maximum has been reached, and the value rolls over to 0.

Eh, is more a result of many gameshark codes then an actual glitch.

That's unlikely, because badges aren't added, they're ORed.

What code exactly is being used?

I thought it always said "BADGES             0" whenever you don't officially have any badges.

The point is that he just beat Brock and it still says no badges.

err but mine i used mewtwo lvl 255 and after I kill a Pokémon it says "Your mewtwo has leveled to level 100"

That's because any experience points gained at above level 100 makes the Pokémon revert to level 100.  You have to use a rare candy make it loop to 0.
