So, you've found a glitch, eh?
If you're going to submit it to Glitch City Laboratories, there are a few guidelines to doing so.
In your submission, any glitches originating from one or more of these methods will usually be denied immediately.:
- Debug Mode
- Savestates *Emulators Only*
- Using an Action Replay/GS a code that does an abnormal action ("Press button for Turbo", etc.)
- A form of hacking which would utilize things like the Memory Viewer (THIS DOES NOT APPLY BECAUSE MEMORY ITSELF IS BEING EDITED, THE RESULTS DO NOT HAPPEN IN-GAME UNDER ANY NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCE.)
- Corruption of the game/ROM created by specific programs or damage to the physical cart.
- Glitches that result from editing the game itself, the glitches must originate from the original game, not a hack.
- Anything that resembles a glitch but is actually caused by the hardware.
If any, meaning one or more, of these above mentioned methods are utilized, the submission will, without question, be immediately denied and placed into the Denied Submissions area.
9/2/08 Addendum: As it was not stated previously, let it be known that your submission MUST include a video or screenshots, otherwise it may be denied if nobody can be bothered to/cannot test it.
