Super Mario Bros Infinite Lives
« on: May 10, 2009, 03:02:17 AM »
Hi, I have known this for a long time and it wasn't
already here so I decided to submit it.

(I did not discover this, I'm just submitting it)

This works on NES SNES GBC AND NEW SUPER MARIO BROS.

This works on any block latter that has turtles coming down
(those things that go up so you can reach the flagpole)

All you have to do is when the turtle is on any
block jump on him, you should keep jumping by
itself and it should bring the combo up and start
giving you 1ups, you can do this until the time runs
out because you will have a lot of lives and it won't
matter, and then you will have to begin the level again
so that means you can get all the lives you want.

More like a trick than an actual glitch.

I think its more of a glitch on the NES version, when having too many lives makes your life counter glitch and one death gives you game over.

Glitch, definitely.

I have witnessed this many times before (my cousin has 2 front-loader NESes) and it's a glitch because you gain more lives than the counter can handle.

That's simply the result of the amount of lives going over 9000 over the amount it can show normal numbers.

But the graphics error is a glitch, nevertheless.
