A glitch map which links to another glitch map (G/S) [21,FF]
« on: September 25, 2009, 06:18:40 AM »
There is a notable 'glitch map' in the code to modify where a door takes you on Pokémon G/S which does not crash the game which I found after experimenting with various hex codes that actually seems to link to another glitch map after using  the 'walk through walls' code.

The values [21,FF] correspond to a dark map with no music. When the pokegear is used the location is apparantly in GoldenRod City. The game regards this location as being indoors so you cannot use fly but flash works revealing a small 'passageway' of symbols so this location is possibly some type of 'glitch cave' but I have not tested Dig to see if it takes me outside, perhaps it would crash the game or take me to another glitch map or an actual valid map.  There are a few tiles particularly the one when you take one step up which sends you back to the step you was on like the doors in the Pokémon center that lead to the link room if you use walkthrough walls to try and enter them.

Besides from that you cannot really explore this area much but you can explore a bit more with
walkthrough walls, the size of this area appears to be 'stretched' more vertically than horizontally
and notably when you walk about 3 steps to the left or right you will be taken to another glitch area with the routes to indigo plateau's music the pokegear says it's route 23 but you will seem to 'sink' into the tiles and I have been unable to move from there even with walkthrough walls. When you press start in this 'glitch version of route 23' the map seems to change like the 'glitch citys' in R/B/Y.

I decided to continue walking down through [21,FF] and went quite a distance but I seemed to walk into a glitch tile which made me move to the right, sending me back into that 'glitch version of route 23'
