What exactly does run on Linux? Since my computer has all sorts like Windows Live Messanger/Windows Media Player and other things.

WLM And WMP are obviously not going to work on linux(Windows live messenger might run under WINE, but I doubt it)
Anything ending in .exe won't run outside of WINE. Almost everything has a alternative though.

((my name) is my windows username, which happens to be my real name)

That is the exact error code, and the same one I got yesterday. 'c:\users\(my name)~1\appdata\local\temp\wubi-9.10ubuntu1-rev160.log' takes me to a text dump, which I'm editing right now because it has my real name in it numerous times. When I'm done, I'll post it up here, too.

EDIT: It's here now. I wonder what's going wrong?

I need Live messenger because it's the only messenger I have seeing as a lot of my friends use it.

Right click and run it as a administrator.

Bingo. Just found it (or at least some of it) in /host. Now, any suggested way to transfer it all to the equivalent folders of Ubuntu?
