Technically we don't accept Submit a Glitch submissions anymore because they are expected to be put straight onto the wiki.

Anyway, is that wild Pokémon always a Nidoqueen? Or was it because you had a Pokémon with a Special stat of 16 (or 256+16 and so on?)

If the Pokémon you encounter varies, this glitch is really quite useful because on Pokémon Yellow one doesn't need to spend a long amount of time trying to find a Ditto in the Pokémon Mansion anymore.  I will add this to the wiki because the effects are quite interesting but it seems to be one of many types of 'Pokémon Trick' variations, the Mew Trick always gives a Mew and always opens the start menu, whilst this glitch seems to always give a Nidoking and always shows some glitch dialogue.

Yeah I know, but I wasn't quite sure how to go about doing that.

No, it's just because of the special stat 16. It doesn't change what Pokemon you'll see.

I will add this to the wiki because the effects are quite interesting but it seems to be one of many types of 'Pokémon Trick' variations, the Mew Trick always gives a Mew and always opens the start menu, whilst this glitch seems to always give a Nidoking and always shows some glitch dialogue.
It is a Pokemon Trick Variation but I like it because it can do so many things. At least in Yellow any ways, not sure it will be able to do as many things in Red and Blue.
