Title: The dream thread
Post by: Bert on November 28, 2012, 03:45:57 pm
Post your dreams and stuff here, I guess.

I had one last night that one of the crawlspaces in my house was a waterslide that led to a waterfall, which I then rode down and flew into space.

I managed to repeat the dream, but I couldn't fly this time, so I just landed in the water and swam.

I had a dream that I was hanging out with an old friend of mine, and we were shooting poison arrows at targets. Then we went back into his house and I was paranoid that I was going to be late for work. :V Pretty strange dream seeing how I haven't seen him since 2008 and it's just strange in general. :V I guess that's what I get for staying up late testing out different glitches and codes in Pokemon. :P

One of my dreams today was set in a post-apocalypse in the future. I basically woke up there and found myself in a ruined, flooded city. A layer of water 2 feet deep stretched for miles, and wrecked skyscrapers surrounded me. I was hungry so I went to search for food, wading across the water, and an old man pointed me over to an alcove section of the old city, where a guy was tending to some edibles.

All that was available to eat was some mutated taffy that grew on a wooden board. These came in red, blue, green, yellow, and white, and appeared to grow despite not being supplied mass in the form of nutrients. I took off a red piece of taffy and ate it, and the guy had to tell me not to eat it all. After a bit I picked bits off of the candy stuck to the board, and placed these bits across the board in order to allow them to grow bigger, and the dream ended.

A while ago I dreamt I was browsing Paheal and just started poking all the images with sticks (somehow actually appearing in those images and having the copies on the server being poked with a real stick, as though they were actually there). I got banned soon afterwards.

And recently I dreamt there was rain coming through my bedroom's roof (but only the half closest to the window). So I picked up my DS (as it was the only thing not water damaged) and opened it up and IDFIOSNFONSOVNORNOIVNOISRVO
Yeah, I suppose you had to be there. It was sort of like one of those game crashes where garbage goes all over the screen, but with a really loud sound that scared the s**t out of me.

I don't even anymore.

I barely remember my dream though I do remember a bunch of people hated me for whatever reason, until towards the end of the dream where I did something to make them start liking me. :V I have no clue who those people were at all either. This was last night's dream... The other day I had a nightmare where someone must have died because I was extremely sad in my dream and I remember I was trying to get revenge on someone. I had another dream last night I just remembered that involved Sonic Retro and a feature that the owner is thinking about doing in real life, but in my dream a few members posts if I was suitable enough to help Pending Members or not, and found out most members thought I wasn't up to par to do so. :V Then I woke up.

Oh man, I had a dream last night I was playing Yellow version, but the Pokémon's sprites were weird meshes between Red Version's and Yellow Version's.

Anyway, I was in the Safari Zone, and what do I come across?

A shiny fucking Chansey. Yes, shinies existed in Pokémon Dream Yellow Version.

I only had three options: Throw a Ball, throw bait, or run. Since Chansey are famous for running away when you so much as look at the screen the wrong way, I decided to throw a Ball at it. It wobbled many times (at least 10), then broke out.

So I throw another Ball at it, and I captured the thing. Talk about exhilerating. I just caught a shiny fucking Chansey, in the Safari Zone, no less.

Then I woke up and was very disappointed.

I had a dream that somebody was outside shooting a gun. They were shooting at our car in the parking lot and the windows at the house. I grabbed my sword from my room and the 2 shurikens that I keep next to my bed. I snuck out the front door while he was wrecking the back yard, and I threw a shuriken at the car. He was startled and I rushed him. Before I sliced him, I was woken up by my alarm clock, which the radio station was playing "The Trooper". irony...

DOUBLE POST, MOTHAFUCKAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!

I had a dream recently that my friend and I were at the Canadian National Exposition (or the CNE for short), which is this big fair held in Toronto. We're at this booth and this dude has all these Pokémon cards on display to be sold, but they're expensive as fuark. I ask the dude if he has a Meganium, but he says he's not sure so he'll look. My friend and I say we'll be back later, so we go and buy some offensive movies.

So as we're walking around the CNE, we're suddenly climbing a mountain that suddenly showed up. There's an avalanche, but my friend and I are fine. The guy at the card booth suddenly comes flying out of a pile of snow on a snowmobile, says that he has a Meganium card, but it's $500. After he said that, there was laughter, like we were on some sort of sitcom. Then the dream ended.

I had a dream last night about tornadoes. I don't know why, but Carey Elwes was there. We were all taking shelter in my basement, then I got pissed for some reason and started yelling at the twister, which is in my backyard. It moves towards me and tries to suck me up, but the tornado was way too weak, so nothing happened.

I had a really weird dream about some sexual stuff. I won't go into too graphic of detail, but there was like, a boot-camp lady, and she was yelling at my classmates and ordering them to do sexual things, or she'd whip them.

Really the most sexual thing I remember was some girl having to grab her butt and jiggle it repeatedly. What I had to do was pretty weird, as I had to do... things to myself while making eye-contact with someone. While eating spaghetti.

It was pretty weird. Hope I didn't offend anyone with this. xD

XD I couldn't help it, I used a dream dictionary to find out what the hell I just read.

Here's what 20 minutes of research, and assumptions found out:

Classmates: Your dream is telling you that you seek association with past relationships
Obedience: Represents your understanding of a higher power
um...you know: represents the need to take care of yourself better (sexually or not)
Spaghetti: Says that you are in an uncomfortable position.

So in short
You're uncomfortable about what you do, where you live, or who you are, and that you wish to fix it, possibly with help from somebody you once knew, or haven't talked to in a while.

If this is remotely correct, then I'm going to walk out and hit my head a few times with a hammer, because spaghetti porn is not my idea of an internal sign from above, and I don't think it should be.

I had a dream last night that, for some reason, "Weird Al" Yankovic moved to Canada and live about a half hour from me. In this dream, I was working as a lawn maintenance guy or something, so I go over to mow his lawn.

On the way there, my car breaks down, so I decide to walk the rest of the way. I call him and tell him I'm gonna be super fucking late. He suddenly appears behind me in a bitchin' El Camino and we go to the mall to hang out instead.

s**t was weird, yo.

Hey, it's just like anything else with sexual frustration. It has feelings too, and, if it can't find anyone to mate with itself (as it's so large, many mates would be crushed under its weight), it has to release some frustration.

While I barely remember my dream I know it involved seeing an old friend of mine (one I still have a crush on but had a bigger crush on back in the day...) and my gf got pretty jealous. At one point in the dream, my friend was wearing a blue Mario shirt and a blue Mario hat. xD I think my subconscious wants me to talk to her on skype or something, seeing how it's been forever ago since i've done so.

So I'mma tell you guys about a dream I had several months ago since I can't see to remember any of the ones I've had recently.

I was in the Windy Valley Zone from Sanic Adventure, and there was a hydra locked in a cage. The hydra was the same one from Disney's Hercules, but it was much smaller. I free the hydra from its cage and we run into the tornado. After reaching the third part of the stage, we run around and find Evil Emperor Zurg (yes, that Zurg) on a floating island. I battled Zurg and eventually kicked his ass.

It was awesome.

I don't usually remember my dreams (even right after waking up from them), but I'm padding this sentence so it doesn't sound like that forced meme with the guy saying "I don't usually X but when I do I Y" stuff. Anyway, I do have a few notes from various occasions in which I managed to remember them.

They go something like this:

Start point: Pokemon, in cloud level; Elite 4 (haven't started battling any yet, but one dude who had just Regice and Registeel was there who may have been from villainous team)
Porky Minch's family from Earthbound were also there
Needed to get key card and then to McDonalds to progress
Fell down or something to some ground-level town (hazy memory)
With sister as well as female companion (named Rebecca), sister was down there before us, Rebecca was travelling with me
Tell Rebecca/sister to go on without me if I miss the next ferry up to the E4 place (reasoing being that as I don't have my Pokemon/some weapon with me, if the villainous team attacked me I wouldn't be able to defend her)
They catch one, I stay around due to (hazy) slowness or wanting to get something while down there
Make my way to ferry station (with a McDonalds)
Go to check when next ferry is (can't remember name of destination)
Begin slipping on ground, effectively can't walk forward
Dream end

11 May 2013
Various small dreams at first
   - Water cooling some routers (on the kitchen table) with a device that looks like a rice cooker (on top of the dishwasher), needed to put the Ethernet cables in for the cooling to work

Sitting at home
Have this giant vending machine thing
   - About 1.5 * the width of a couch (sort of shaped like one of those bread storage things where you flip the side up and down)
   - Automatically serves huge variety of foods
   - Seems to have something to do with a video game, waffles are DLC which costs $2.95
   - Operated by remote (very large and very similar in appearance to a Logitech K800) or by panel on front
Rigel comes along and inquires about its functionality, then takes some food from it Editor's note: Rigel is one of my friends in real life who isn't the type to come to my house and rob my vending machines)
I realise that might mess up the thing that keeps track of stock levels
Dream end

Waking music: Miku Hatsune - PoPiPo (Vegetable Juice Dance), Ian Pooley - Chord Memory (Daft Punk remix)

----
18 May 2013

- Playing Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (or something very similar to it)
- Game now takes place in complete 3D
- Set up game between 4 CPUs set to maximum difficulty
- Human player still gets to fly around as a spaceship (I hover around the very top of the map)
- Yoshi is there (not interacting with the game going on, but you can replace your ship with him)
Dream ends at some point

Waking music: THE IDOLM@STER - Go MY Way, Atlantic Wave - Reforced (Giada remix)

So these vary in detail depending on how sparse my memory is of the dream. Most dreams follow the pattern of me playing some video game which becomes the dream's reality, or me in some bizarrechitecture building where there are walkways on very high floors with no handrails (this is often at a very corrupted version of the schools I attended back in the days). Often these involve some person I know quite well in real life, I recognize their face as being that person, but when I wake up I realise the face I saw in the dream wasn't anything close to that person. And I seem to always get vivid music in my head just after waking up (especially if the dream ended with a song playing), occasionally it is an original composition but I never remember those of course.

Other than that, the more interesting "dreams" I have (and the ones I do remember quite well) are the daydreams (read: invasive thoughts when I'm performing some non-relaxing or sleep activity) I have quite regularly (say, every couple of hours) which I won't go into detail of to protect the innocence and reputation of the people within, including myself. I sure hope those aren't some sort of prophecy of what actually happens in those ones, because... dayumn.

Man, I've had a bunch of weird ones lately, but the weirdest had to be a recent one.

For some reason, I was fighting Bane from the Batman series. Not the cool wrestler Bane, but the stupid asthmatic retarded Sean Connery Bane...for you. For whatever reason, he was at my house. And yes, he did the backbreaking thing.

Later in the dream, Herman Li from DragonFarce was at my house and we fought as well. And by fight, I mean he swung my tire swing at me, and I had to dodge it.

Ruh roh, double post.

A couple nights ago, I dreamt I was at my elementary school and there were cobras everywhere. They were jumping (not slithering, jumping) and attacking everybody and everything in sight. For some reason, they were weakened in the shade, so we all hid in it. The cobras just sat there and waited for us to come back out.

Compared to some of the other dreams I've had, this one was pretty straightforward.

So for some reason I have gained the uncanny ability to actually remember some of my dreams without even writing them. Two of them, in fact, which is a very large number as we all know. And I don't actually remember them completely so it doesn't really count. Anyways:

- I was watching MLP (IRL I don't bother watching it anymore because the writing has gone to s**t IMO, but that's another story) and it went all grimdark. I didn't quite catch what was going on nor do I remember, but Applejack had been killed off and Rainbow Dash was talking about some sort of war going on. If I recall it was some sort of dystopian s**t. Anyway, it was pretty cool in the dream at least, and my family gathered round to watch it as well (yeah nah that doesn't happen and even if it did I would still feel weird).

- I was either on a tour of Microsoft's headquarters or at some booth at an expo, and some marketing type woman was giving me and a group of other people a demonstration of some game-type thing. She was explaining something among the lines of "We have assigned our most talented developers to this new project!" and I retorted with something like "Well I guess you have lots of spare talent lying around, since you didn't use any when you made Windows Vista". Everyone in the room instantly gained a jaw-dropped facial expression that read as 'Dude why the s**t would you just say that'. So even my subconscious thinks I'm an insensitive jerk.

My subconcious is a place you guys don't wanna be. I had a dream a long time ago, that Sonic 3D Blast was on a Jungle Gym setting. Also had a dream with a Genie Oyster that had a Monsters, Inc. button that glowed when you asked for a wish. I asked for a big house (I was eight), and the house was on the middle of a busy street. I asked the genie to move it, and it exploded right there. And one time I had a dream that I went to heaven. Just...because I felt like it. I could name gazillion more, but than this would be too long.

To my head: sort your s**t out.

My subconscious can range from kickass:
I had a dream a few weeks ago that I had a pet King Ghidorah (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Ghidorah). He was nowhere near as big as he usually is; probably around 4 feet tall instead. We were playing fetch in my backyard and at one point, he licked my face.

To monstrous:
I had a dream over the summer where a doctor told me I had AIDS. Yeah. Imagine how fucking happy I was when I woke up.

Even worse, it had a sequel (two days ago).

In this dream, I was actually living with the disease. I don't remember much about the dream but the mood was really somber and I wasn't in good shape or health.

Of all the fucking dreams to have sequels to, it had to be that one. Why not the King Ghidorah dream? Why not the dream where I rode down a waterfall and flew into space? Noooo, my subconscious would rather make me dream about having an incurable disease instead.

Needless to say, I am doing my damn hardest to make sure I forget about those horrifying dreams.

I took a nap this afternoon, and had the most out of context, bizarre dream ever. Basically everything was anti-Semitic (I'm dead ass serious), but in a less 1940's way. If you were caught Jewish, everybody would be laughing. People started calling me a Jew, and I claimed I wasn't. They eventually believed us, so we left...walking down a highway. Some kids were playing baseball (one of which I know from school) and they started pitching me balls to catch. I didn't catch ANY of them. So eventually, an unknown split between this anti semitic reality and video games commences (meaning the setting changes), because eventually all of this is taking place in a...DS? I mean, everything was still as was, but I was playing it. But all conversations from that world were still intact. ANYWAYS, my mom says she's gonna get me off the highway to safety. And from there, the part she was picking me up was a Mario Kart...Super circuit...race with...Wi-Fi?

Hopefully tonight, I can rest without some wacky s**t happening in my head.

So the other night, I couldn't get to sleep until about 2am (judging by me checking the clock repeatedly, which I probably shouldn't do) and I didn't think I would ever get to sleep that night. So after a while, I found myself on my laptop in my room even though I don't do that, then went back into the bed. After a while some radio went off which would have been my alarm, and then I checked my alarm clock and the LED display was all fuzzy and unreadable, plus displaying things that would be physically impossible.

And then I woke up. Everything after the checked the clock and it was 2am part was all just a dream. What the hell, subconscious?
Worst part is that when I woke up for reals the clock said 2:20am, and then I for reals didn't sleep the whole night. Felt just as horrible the next day as if I didn't get any sleep at all.

And then the night after that my subconscious tries the same s**t again, only this time the clock display gets taken to the extreme. Lots of mathematical equations were flying around everywhere and out of the screen, it was kind of like that one anime I'm thinking of but can't think of where the background is all messed up (because someone divided by zero or discovered the inner workings of the universe) and I can't tell what was going on but it wasn't Evangelion and it was just happening in/around the clock's screen. But this time I was just all like "Yeah f**k you subconscious I'm not falling for your bullshit the second time round", and then tried to leave the dream and wake up but for some reason I couldn't and I started shaking raipdly and was arbitrary scared, it was a bit like what I've read about a panic attack being like but more physically violent. Maybe it was a panic attack combined with a seizure. Luckily, that was later in the night a few minutes before I was going to wake up anyway, and I had actually already slept some sleep beforehand.

Also, while I'm at it: That feel when your dream involves being in your old bed from your old home which was against the wall, and then you wake up and realise your current real bed isn't against the wall, so you try to pull it and the wall together but the wall isn't there because your bed's actually in the centre of the room so you just end up almost falling off the bed. Well, that only happened once.

One more from last night edit: I dreamt that I had a cat and I was lying on the floor for whatever reason and it came up and hugged me. It was the cutest thing I've ever woken up from. Though I wouldn't have one in real life due to the responsibility, fur getting everywhere, not being able to leave food lying there without worrying about said cat trying to eat it, etc.

I can't remember when I had this dream, but there was one where I got stuck in the middle of somewhere in Canberra in the middle of the night. So I had to catch a bus (implying outside of the dream universe there are buses in Canberra in the middle of the night). I saw the bus coming around the corner, but it went past the bus stop before I could get to it. So I ran up to the bus as fast as possible, and somehow caught up to it. For some reason the doors were open (or I just opened them myself, can't remember) so I jumped right in the still moving bus LIKE A FUCKING BAWSE and got a ticket.

The bus driver's face during the whole transaction was one of the best faces I had ever seen, both dream and real life.

Last night I was doing some ghost hunting with the dudes from Ghost Adventures (or maybe just with Aaron) at my house. It was the dead of night and we didn't get anything interesting inside my house, so we walked around outside for some reason.

I walk around a corner to the front door and there's this little girl standing there. I go up to her and ask what she'd doing at my house, if she's lost, if she's okay, yadda yadda.

Suddenly her eyes light up to this bright, lava-like orange and her head jolts up to look at me, totally catching me off guard. I figured they were lenses or something and I had fallen victim to a clever ruse, but then she smiled, and her mouth was also lava orange. No teeth. I still had no idea what this was supposed to mean, but then she talked. Apparently, Satan likes to take the form of little girls for some reason.

Satan said things that no human, no matter how intelligent or articulate, could ever know. I'm screaming at this point and backing away, but trip and fall onto my back. As I keep crawling away, Aaron returns from wherever he went to and gasps. Then the dream ended.

So I had some dream that I was playing some game, which isn't uncommon in itself, but this one was pretty damn cool. The gameplay was some sort of mix between Pokémon and Zelda or Pokémon with real-time combat or something like that, but it was even more brilliant. And there was this mystery/horror/action thriller plot going on. I don't remember the details, let alone enough to actually make the game or whatever. But I do remember s**t was fucking cash.

Yesterday morning I dreamt I found this new glitch in Pokémon Black.

It was something like this, but I can't remember well enough to be accurate. I was fighting the Elite Four and a Pokémon that could evolve leveled up, but I finished the battle with a Pokémon that couldn't evolve, which also leveled up. Or maybe I leveled up the non-evolving Pokémon first, then finished the battle with the non-final stage Pokémon that leveled up.

At the end of the battle it said that the non-evolving Pokémon was evolving, and it had the name of a real Pokémon, I can't remember which.

Its picture in the evolution sequence after it evolved looked like a sprite version of this, though:

Had some more dreams involving me playing SSB4 recently. Apparently I'm that hyped for it that it appears in my subconscious regularly. But anyways, about a week or so ago I was playing it and it had a map in the classic mode where you choose which path you want to go to. Meanwhile, in the present day in real life, I check Facebook, and what do I see the SSB page posting about with some news about the classic game mode...

Coincidence? I think so!

However, if any of the following characters are announced (very unlikely) then I will be very afraid.
- Homura Akemi
- Kyuubey
- Miku Hatsune
- Rin Kagamine
- Anyone from the Dragon Ball series
- Rika Furude or perhaps it was Satoko, I remember it was from the same dream with the map. The different paths represented different series or groups/genres so you would go one way to fight Mario spinoffs (Yoshi, DK etc), one way to fight RPG guys like Ness, and one way to fight all the anime characters. Obviously being me I went down the latter path, where it was split up into more paths representing each series but it didn't tell you which was which, I just recognised the minigame in between (minigames were required to unlock certain paths) as being a reference to Higurashi somehow. s**t was so cash tho

Straight from my logs, this dream was a really weird one. I still don't understand why I had it, but it's still a really fucked up manifestation in itself.

Quote
The dream started out with me walking to the local liquor store. I came across 15 pickup trucks driving down the street. For some odd reason they all parked on MY street. As if it couldn't get any more weird, the person in the backmost line came out of their truck. He proceeded to shout the following.

"You guys have been selected to be victim of our FUCKING 24-hour robbery! Anybody, including children, the eldery, and general retards will be shot at the slightest hint of resistance, or if we feel like it. You're all our pawns, and we'll be rolling out of here with all the money."

This man wasn't hesitating, as he and a few of his buddies begun firing SMGs at nearby people, instantly killing them. Worse off, more people started guarding the ends of the street to make sure anyone didn't get out. These people had no regard for human life or any sort of emotions in general. Before stealing valuables, they decided to have some fun in their way by causing vandalism, arson, murder, and various other crimes. As I ran back to my house, I came across one of their men dumping gasoline in my yard. He gave me a smug grin as he ignited the fuel. The man wasn't so smart, because he only lit the fuel on the concrete. There was nothing flammable to destroy my house.

I headed inside but my family was already aware of the issue. We waited until night to see if help would come, and unfortunately none did. We had an agreement to not answer the door, keep most of the lights off, and make ourselves hidden. The men already knew their other guy failed to rob us, so they decided to take it in their hands. During the night I assumed they kicked down our door, which is impossible given its qualities. The worst-case scenario was upon us, as it was literally three men who busted in. One had a shotgun, the others had SMGs. We weren't armed, as all the guns were locked away.

They didn't hesitate to make themselves known. As my aunt walked out with her revolver, the pointman (dude with the shotgun) shot her point-blank, instantly killing her. My brother and mom ran out shouting, and the two SMG men shot them dead as well.

I furiously sprinted outside after somehow disarming all the robbers, and made my way to a two-story house that was now on the end of my street. I met two men who were fighting robbers, but couldn't stop them. I asked them why it was so hard and they told me they were dealing with abnormal humans part of the robbers that have night-vision by GENETICS, and were extremely agile. They also were known to fit the role of "monster in the closet" as their eyes would glisten in the dark if they looked at you.

The two men I met told me that these guys had no names, so they referred to them as "spooks". One of them told me from watching their activity, they choose to primarily murder children and are known to leave messy traces. The man was then interrupted by one of the spooks about to attack us, as their were no children around. The man literally handed me a mint-condition Kar98k rifle. For those who aren't gun-savvy, a Kar98k was the primary bolt-action rifle used by Nazi soldiers.

Something I dreamt and typed up a while ago (14th apparently) but forgot to post. It is as follows, noting that I probably was half-asleep while writing this:

Quote
In some high school
"Oh crap one of those dreams, I suppose I'll play along and see how it goes"
Maths class
Introduces some characters like it was some kind of movie
Douchebag jock character to my left, some other people I don't remember
Fail opening maths test horribly
Everyone else does too though so I don't feel too bad
"Okay kids now time for Pokémon class"
Oh f**k yes
All of my f**k yes
"It's important you know how Pokémon work so you can go out and catch them in the real world"
Basically deduce that Pokémon are real in this universe
Over 9000 f**k yes
Apparently this kid sitting next to me is my long-time childhood friend, even though he's a dick
The sheet of paper says what we will end up with as our Pokémon team
Ask the teacher if there's any restrictions (to see if we're supposed to just have basic early game mons etc)
She says there isn't
Time to ace the s**t out of this class
Put Volcarona and Espeon and some others down (apparently I was planning a team using these guys)
Meanwhile my "friend" has stolen some donuts, which due to dream logic, are Mr. Mimes (ed. Upon reading this again, perhaps they were just donuts but they were being guarded by the Mr Mimes)
He angers the Mr. Mimes and causes widespread destruction
Use my god-like powers to reset the universe
Same scenario with the Pokémon class starts again, except this time, it's a bit more like Hogwarts but with Pokémon
That dude who was apparently my friend earlier does some stupid s**t I can't remember, and almost pissess off a wild Hydreigon
"Okay class don't panic we all have to gather round in groups and that makes the Hydreigon ignore us"
Apparently it was a sort-of-prank from one of the teachers who teach a more advanced class to teach the dude a lesson
This dude's behaviour has got to end before he does something completely stupid again, but I don't reset the universe this time
Teacher goes up to me and asks me to keep an eye out for him
Grumble to myself about how now I have to do the teacher's job
Skip to next day
Some more teachers are there, one of which is my old supervisor IRL
Dude brings in his troublemaker-type bros around to class
"Yeah brah we're like the best trainers brah caught a Hydreigon brah" or something like that, bragging about stuff
Old supervisor mentions "There's going to be a new test" and points to me and says "He approved it"
Oh crap don't drag me into this, I don't want them to beat the crud out of me
The test involves the donuts from before
All the people in the class who aren't the dude and his bros ask me what the hell this test is about
I apparently was the one who thought of the test from earlier, as I explain that they just have to get the donuts and actually pay for them
"You'd be surprised, there are some people who can't work that out"
Meanwhile in background the dude is experiencing the wrath of Mr. Mimes
Apparently he has a fear of Fairy types (fridge brilliance: He's a Dark type because he's a dick)
He runs away from the school and is never seen again
The story ends and I wake up

Waking music: All Hail Britannia!, Minomatoya - Next Day

So basically it was like some sort of episode of some Pokémon anime adaptation, except it was actually enjoyable. I'm thinking I could flesh this idea out a bit more into an actually coherent story and sell it to Game Freak/Nintendo for a couple mils. Maybe not even that much. I'm not a greedy person, just about 320K to pay off the mortgage oughta do it.

I wonder if this is all because my Hydreigon got outsped and killed by a Mr. Mime the other day in the Battle Maison when I thought I could nail it with Flash Cannon.

I can't remember much of it now, but I had a dream where I had random polygons flying all over the place, probably inspired by some of my emulation issues (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXMfQf5YTA4).  It was kind of weird, but it also felt normal in the dream.  Dreams have a way of doing that.

Okay subconscious, your obsession with putting silly characters in Smash Bros has got to stop.

Postman Pat will never be in the series. Ever. Or any fighting game.

The more I think about the fact that I actually dreamt this, the more I laugh uncontrollably.

Yes, hello? Is this the mental hospital? I'd like to book myself in. Forever. Thanks.

Postman Pat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postman_Pat) was a kids show about a postman, named Pat. He lived in a village named Greendale and often tried to solve problems its residents were having.

I think I saw an episode once or twice and was bored to death by it.

Zowayix's subconscious wants him to be in Smash Bros., for some reason.

Cause I don't want this nice handy-dandy M1014 pointed at me:

Go for it. Just last night I had a dream that I was going to that one water park (Wet 'n' Wild since it's like one of the only four theme parks in Australia) with some friends and I think one of them was a hot chick, who most definitely would have changed into a bikini once we got there. Only like along the way, I forgot to bring a change of clothes myself, and then I woke up. So I went to sleep again, mildly pissed off, and the same scenario happens again (which is interesting, because I don't usually get the same dream twice in a row) except this time, I have some second house up there in the Gold Coast (noice) except my mum is there (Why? She can f**k right off, and if it's her house up there, I will f**k right off myself) and tells me I have to clean it before I can go, and I wake up before I get a chance to finish or some bullshit that went off into some fucking tangent that wasn't related to me actually getting to have a good time in my dreams for once.

I mean come on, f**k you subconscious you piece of s**t. This happens every fucking time. Every fucking time I go to any place at all that might be awesome, the plane crashes or I get forcibly sidetracked by some random fucking thing or some stupid fucking other bullshit happens that prevents me from going there. Seriously, I end up enjoying real life more than my dreams and that's some fucking bullshit.

I had a dream last night I had a pet...Mario dinosaur. I'm not sure if it was Dorrie or the blue apatosaurus from the Dino Dino Jungle level, but definitely one of those two.

So for some reason we were in Castelia City (aka best Pokémon Black & White city), and I was in tears because I had to let the dinosaur go. I was at the port, gave it one last hug around the neck, and watched him/her swim away, and then woke up.

Why would you make me feel those feels, subconscious?

Welp, had a really strange one this morning.

The local mall was being transformed into a cathedral for some reason, which was Hades' cue to rise from the Underworld and...take over Earth, I guess. He decides to start with the mallthedral, which is where the entirety of the dream took place. Hades was much more tempermental than in Disney's Hercules, and regularly oozed out the crimson flames from when he was pissed.

Eventually, everyone managed to elude Hades, which prompted him to bring Cerberus into the game to hunt people down. People were hiding in various rooms with unknown purposes, leaving me left. Someone told me to "step on the crosses," Hades and Cerberus merged into one being, and he chased me up to the rooftop for an epic battle that never was. On the stairs I saw little cross indents in the middle, so I stepped on those and CerberHades was damned when I reached the top.

That was a fun dream.

Some of you guys have interesting dreams. Let me share one I had recently...
In Dreamland I had an NES. I dont have one in real life. I brought the NES to school and while I was talking to my friends about it, there was an announcement that there was going to be a terrorist attack. I wanted to save my NES and I had no idea what to do. When I left the classroom I saw some of my classmates training to be horse riders. When I told my sister about the dream, she told me it could be a time when technology had destroyed the world and that there were efforts to completely eradicate technology. That explains why my classmates were learning horse-riding and why I treasured my NES so much. (I would in real life too but not as much as in my dream)
This should be turned into a dystopian novel or something. It will totally outrock The Hunger Gamesor Maze Runner!!

I have strange dreams where I'll play Super Mario Sunshine, but the game is almost completely different. Shine Sprites are effortless to obtain, the Piantas eyes burn when you get too many of them, there's a shop in the middle of the plaza with nobody there, 2 empty huts with no real purpose, a huge train running around, Corona Mountain has an upper level, Ricco Harbor looks entirely different (it doesn't look anything like the real one, it's WAAAAY smaller)... there are some things I have difficulty remembering, but the game is completely different in my subconscious.

I'm pretty sure the reason I dreamt about buying Ruby specifically because it is the only main series Gen III game I lack...and if Drill Peck ends up as a TM in a future generation of Pokémon, I'm not sure how I'll react.

Well for whatever reason I was petsitting for my uncle, and he tells me he has two new pets. He doesn't tell me what they are, because why the hell not.

I head down to the basement and come across a super secret door leading to...Noki Bay's underwater city. Well, that makes sense since I've been playing lots of Super Mario Sunshine lately. So I'm swimming around and losing health when suddenly MOTHERFUCKING PHANTA MANTA OUT OF NOWHERE. I bail from Noki Bay back to the basement, assuming this is one of his new pets.

I go looking around to see if the other pet is this bad, when suddenly MOTHERFUCKING WIGGLER OUT OF NOWHERE. Not only is this Wiggler not prone to anger, but he's the happiest living thing I've ever met. We spent the rest of the dream running around the house and having fun.

Uh...huh.

Some time ago I dreamt that I was a detective investigating a murder in a house on a hill. The maid had been murdered so I go in to look for clues, finding finger marks on her neck. Somebody taps my shoulder, I turn around, and get splashed in the face with hot water and pass out.

[Scene missing]

I was in a car chase against the murderer, the house's owner, who was returning home to dispose of any evidence he think he might've missed. We crash on a neighboring hill, and I explain, in a very Columbo-esque way, how I figured out it was him. I don't remember what I said, but it involved CSI: Miama-tier logic and I recall saying, "You said there were no witnesses, but did you take the clouds into account?"

This culminated into a big fistfight that ended with me killing him after punching him down the hill, closing the case and ending the dream.

S**t was great, yo. I wish I could remember what happened between me passing out and the car chase.

I don't usually post here, but I don't usually dream about Pokémon.

It was weird. I was in Hoenn, and it started coming out of a cave and then onwards to a town, (for some reason it was supposedly Lilycove City despite Lilycove City being nowhere near a cave, unless you count that place you catch one of the Regis, forget which one. Or Mt. Pyre, and I sure didn't cross water) and into a building, where there ended up being a triple battle between myself, May(?) and an NPC, and Archie, Maxie and an NPC (why would Archie and Maxie be on the same side??). I was late getting into the battle, because I couldn't find my Poké Balls for some reason, but as soon as I sent out a Pokémon, the battle was over quickly.

Cut to Wally(?) buying a Rayquaza (lolwut) from someone, then getting into some random car for some reason.

I forget the rest, it didn't last long after that.

Like I said, it was weird.

Well now.

In last night's episode of, No, Seriously, What the Hell is Up with My Subconscious?, in what was possibly a sequel to that detective dream I had, I was tasked with protecting the one and only Christian Weston Chandler.

Two A-Logging dipshits decided to take their "Chris should die" mindset a bit too far and set themselves to killing him, and I had to hurry to... the street my grandfather lives on, apparently. I don't know. Chris was living on that street for some reason.

Anyway. I beat them to Chris' house and get the jump on his would-be killers, engaging them in a two-against-one fistfight. The police arrested them 'cause, y'know, murder is illegal and s**t. As thanks for saving his life, the Great Director Chandler gave me an autographed TRUE and HONEST master copy of Sonichu #0.

I had a dream (well no s**t, it's this thread) that I was playing a new Pokémon game and they used the word 'retarded', and I was like 'What the hell, man! You can't say retarded in an all ages game. That's like saying n****r or faggot'. Oh well.

Also, my subconscious is apparently really attached to my old retail job. It's been going on for a while now. First I'll be working away doing nothing useful at all (as that job was, just rearranging shelves and bullshit like that), and I'll eventually wake up, and be like "Yo, what the f**k? I don't work there".

So then eventually I caught on. During these dreams, I would actually be there, but halfway through I'll suddenly realise... "Wait a minute. It's 2015. I stopped working here like 4 years ago". And then I proceed to just waltz out of there, sometimes with the realisation that this must be a dream because why else would I even go to that shitty store but I don't manage to do any lucid dreaming s**t.

But now it's really trying its hardest to convince me. It actually goes and makes up backstories such as I left my job on such friendly terms that I could just come back at any time I wanted (I mean, I was amicable and all, but I don't even know if they even have people who do what I did anymore because it's so pointless), and that I took a second job back there because I was pissed off about being underpaid in my current job (which I am, but not that desperately), or that when I got this new job, I never got around to quitting my old one, so I just went on working there as well because I would totally have the time to do that when I was studying at the same time.

Yeah, with all my free time I'd totally spend it in a job where I literally wished I was dead every day for something like $15 an hour (I don't fucking know), instead of volunteering to work overtime some more in a role I can almost remotely enjoy, or some s**t. Or just continue as I am but play some video games.

Had some interesting ones last night, let's see if I can remember them:

Was watching K-On! early in the morning and it was for some reason all grimdark, Yui got stabbed in some vital organs and was bleeding massively and Mugi had the lower half of her body cut completely off (and not a clean cut either). They were in hospital talking about how they're going to die very shortly, and I didn't get to see the ending because my neighbour's fucking yappy dog woke me up. I hope that thing gets the lower half of its body cut off and it dies.

Playing some game with some magic and fairies type of setting, it was actually really cool though. It was some ordinary person who got transported to this magical world and either became its god/goddess or just had a lot of superpowers. At one point an NPC was demonstrating to the player how they could use this volume amplification ability, there was a cutscene showing them going "Alright, let's test this out! HELLO EVERYONE" and not realising that you basically can't shout at the top of your lungs completely or literally the entire fairy world could hear it, and I do mean literally as in literally.

Also for some reason you could change your gender and have sex with a horse, I dunno why.

DOMESTICATED.

DINOSAURS.

DO YOU KNOW HOW AWESOME THAT IS.

YES I THOUGHT SO.

However, they were much smaller, no bigger than an average dog. My family had an orange robo-triceratops, who just downright refused to come in.

I was then woken up by my neighbor screaming he's gonna cut a tree down.

Last night I dreamt that a horde of velociraptors were attacking my neighborhood, and a brontosaurus and a tyrannosaurus were trying to fight them off. For some reason, Team One (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flashpoint_(TV_series)) showed up and tried to keep everything under control. By then, the dinosaurs had reached my backyard, which was a lot bigger than it is in reality.

I'm not sure how it happened, but at some point I got an AK-47, mounted the brontosaurus, and massacred a good number of velociraptors, but I was forced to take shelter in my clubhouse. The leader of the raptors was waiting for me there, and we had a fierce struggle for the gun, but I gained the upper hand, harnessed my inner King Kong, and snapped his jaw in half. The raptors were soon slain.

F**k yeah.

The velociraptor dream had a sequel.

In the wake of the Raptor King’s death, the surviving velociraptors put a bounty on my head and their new leader, also known as the Raptor King, vowed to make me down himself. I went on the run across Canada to avoid them, being aided by an unidentified secret agent. We wound up in a city which was probably Toronto, but the raptors had beaten us there. During a thrilling chase through some crosswalks (we jaywalked like mofo’s), the agent was killed and the Mayor put the city on lockdown.

After a brief stay at my cousin’s house (who doesn’t live in Toronto), the Mayor told me he had arranged for my escape and a helicopter would be waiting atop a high rise. As I reach the roof, I discover it’s a trap: the Mayor and the velociraptors are working together to stop me from escaping. Once I killed the raptors and the Mayor, I brawled the new Raptor King, which caused the helicopter to fall off the roof. I managed to shove the King off as well, and he was shredded by the propeller. f**k yeah.

I had a dream that My Melody was a Pokémon. There was a scene showing her in a game like Pokémon X and Y.

I've had a number of dreams all about my favourite game series called The Legendary Starfy. In one of them somebody gave me a Starfy (from The Legendary Starfy) t-shirt. There was another Starfy dream where a Legendary Starfy anime series began and you had to watch it early in the morning. In a third dream there was an evolution glitch where a Pokémon would evolve into the enemy Imadame.

Sometimes the dreams I have are a lot more abstract, including this semi-lucid dream in which I was floating through space and saw some geometric patterns. I've also experienced a couple of false awakenings where I think I wake up but I'm actually still asleep.

Most of the time I forget the details about my dreams (which is normal) but at times I'll have a sudden memory about it.

The earliest dream I remember was really nice and was when I was a young child. Me and a girl named Sally were in this Jurassic Park like setting and we had to escape from a dinosaur that looked like a T-Rex. I think a vending machine may also have been involved. I really loved dinosaurs back then and had a couple of fact-file folders about different dinosaurs.

I used to dream about the future. I'd live through a day or two, wake up, then forget until I'd realize it's coming true in front of my eyes. I seem to have lost these, though, as the last one I had was when I was 8. (It took place 3 weeks ago.)

Last night's dream was a Meganium Man! episode.

Someone had stolen a Lugia egg from the Whirl Islands, which went about as well as you'd expect. The adult wyvern went on a rampage throughout Johto looking for it, forcing Meganium Man to try and fight it off while simultaneously looking for the egg in order to calm Lugia down.

I think a Simisage stole it, because Meganium Man had a fight with the monkey and stole the egg from it.

This has potential.

This was a few nights ago, so really late, but whatever...

This was your typical zombie-apocallypse dream, y'know, zombie virus spreads, world ends, survivors congregate, zombies turn hyper-intelligent... wait, WHAT?
So all sarcasm aside, it started out as a run-of-the-mill zombies-kill-everyone dream that takes place 50 years in the future, and spiraled out from there. After my group of survivors found an island connected to the mainland only by subway and water, we set up camp there. (This is where the dream STARTS... Seriously.) Anyway, so we get this nice camp up on this island, we find out it was the private island of a trillionaire, complete with separate buildings for a full-size theatre, gym, stacked parking garage building (complete with a car for every space!), 16 generators with fuel for 500+ years, and housing for 500,000. There was even bleeding-edge tech: 1024 TB storage servers (Yes, plural!), biobeds a lá Elysium, and 10-tier farm BUILDINGS! Whoever was here most likely paid for the only copies of the tech, obviously. This dude had the entirety of the Internet (only surface...) on servers with, in total, 4098 TB of storage! (Yes, this site was on it, only with 50 YEARS' worth of new info and corruption set in 5 years from now, as all forum posts from before then were gone, and there was no wiki. Those were dark times...) I s**t myself (dream only, obviously...) as this is a tech junkie's fantasy and, well, what is a man? Anyway, we live there for several years (10 or so) and use the biobeds to literally cure zombies and bring them to their pre-infected state. However, during the 16th year, the hyper-intelligent zombies find us. At this point, we're over 16 billion strong, as the island had SO MUCH tech we could build shelters that housed 50 million within 10 days. The zombies actually DID NOT WANT TO KILL US! They wanted to use the biobeds to wipe out the disease!
THE POST IS TOO LOOOOOONG!

(Why is this thread not a sticky somewhere?)
The post was too long for my DSi (I had 3 bytes left of memory I could use before it would crash. Bevause 4098KB of memory and all...) so here's Part 2.

Apparently the pre-infection consciousness found a way to overcome the virus's control and regain control over the body. They wanted to kill off the disease before no one was left uninfected. So they take the biobeds (They took 7 and left one for us... and this island never had more than 1 in residence. Okay...) and the virus is slowly killed off. (It takes 4 years to cure the world. With 7 biobeds. What the f**k did I just type?) And then my alarm goes off. Anticlimactic, I know. But it is what it is.

Afterthought EDIT: Before I'm asked 100,000 times about the servers and what I saw this community devolve into, here you go:

The forums operated under a pay-to-join system. The price? $15,000 in BitCoin or equivalent and all your personal information. Why the personal info? Because if you were banned, you had 4 days or less before an admin came to your house IRL and brutally murdered you. Your organs were then shipped to all members with "Moderator" or better title. Then all traces of you ever existing were erased.
Like I said, the final years of this community were dark times...

Cool! :)

Maybe the giganotosaurus, because I was always interested in the T-rex and when I read about a creature like it with a name like that it got me interested. However, I'm not sure if I've ever really decided on a favourite and also like dinosaurs such as pterosaurs and ankylosaurus best. Additionally I remember reading about hallucigenia (an unusual sea creature species which also has an unusual name) and thinking it was very interesting.

According to Wikipedia:

Quote
Its quirky name reflects its unusual appearance and eccentric history of study; when it was erected as a genus, the animal was reconstructed upside down and back to front.

COMING SOON FROM SYFY...

IS A CREATURE SO HORRYFING, IT'S OWN NAME IS RELATED TO THE WORD "HALLUCINATE..."

HALLUCIGENIA: THE CREEP IN THE DEEP

John Smith (David Hasselhoff) is a lifeguard, as usual. So when he sees husband and wife Bob (Tommy Wiseau) and Gretchen (Tara Reid) begging for help, he assumes it's just another routine drowing rescue.

He's wrong.

Before he can say, "What the hell am I doing in this movie?" Cameron finds himself in a world of danger and a desperate fight for survival along with the couple he rescued. They wind up in a submarine Bob, a naval commander, is stationed in and, as the peculiar horror closes in, realize only they can stop it...

STARRING:
DAVID HASSELHOFF
TOMMY WISEAU
AND TARA REID AS A MARINE BIOLOGIST

DIRECTED BY:
PAUL FROM MCDONALDS

And there's my big shitpost for the year.

I don't think I've ever heard someone say they like ankylosauruses. Awesome! Such an underrated dinosaur.

A 3.4 on IMDb (they're harsh on direct-to-video releases) with 26 reviews, 7 of which are positive, and it would have a super duper big TVTropes page.

I seen close future in my recent dreams, one was about my PC just "doing wierd stuff" and restarting into... Windows XP, even though i have only Windows 7 on my main PC, but SCREW THE GODDAMN RULES, also, it became night out of sudden. Then at school today, I was using a PC with XP on it... then another one about a PC breaking (not mine) and then us riding the fastest bus in the world..., then i read SatoMew's reply on a thread and I'm quoting:
The developers faced a lot of challenges, both economical and technical (in addition to their inexperience). In his 20th anniversary message, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4S8MZ19utc) Junichi Masuda said that Game Freak's PCs broke often while they were developing Red and Green.
My dreams are weird, and sometimes tell the future in a pretty weird way.
But that's not the end.
A few nights back I also had a dream (or rather nightmare) about some "epidemic disease" that was spreading via smell. Wierd.
And around a week or two ago, I had a weird one too, I don't remember most of it but I remember some of it. I was at a city which looked like Mauvile City from R\S\E at first, then i went into a shop, then went to another shop, then into a weird elevator that was placed there. I went up, and eventually stopped, then I was at a house with wooden walls, then something happened and i ran off to tge closest room, which was a alternate version of one of the rooms in my house, and jumped off the balcony, hang on something, and in the distance saw... Serena from X/Y.

Weird...

Last night I dreamt I was some kind of vigilante waging war against... err... I don't remember. I think the villains were crime lords or somesuch. Anyway, I storm into their hideout, an abandoned hospital and start taking out the leader's goons. Suddenly his wife/mistress/cohort lady attacks me with a goddamned axe, but I manage to wrestle it away from her and kill her with it. I then moved on into an empty ward and fought Mr. Crime Lord Dude hand-to-hand while an orchestral piece played. I eventually threw him off the balcony.

This was... huh, wow.

I had to join the Pamela Anderson fan club for some reason. Apparently there was such a thing, and eventually Pamela Anderson herself called me and I was like "aaaaagghhh!! I hate phones!!! Why did you do this to me", because apparently someone gave her my phone number. And then I woke up.

I relate too, sometimes our subconscious brings up dreams that feel a little weird now and then. I also have a strange habit of dreaming I'm back in school, makes me curious at times.

Straight from my MS Word document:

I was living on my own in an apartment. The rent all of a sudden spikes and the landlord – normally a nice, affable chap – becomes a raging arsehole who goes around harrassing and assaulting tenants for whatever reason. Disturbed by his sudden attitude and believing there is evil afoot, I call everyone’s favorite heroes for hire, The A-Team: George Peppard, Dirk Benedict, Dwight Schultz and Mr. T. Not the movie one. We capture the ‘landlord’ after a short scuffle and discover that he is actually a lookalike; the real landlord – henceforth known as Mr. Landlord – owed money to the Canadian mafia (that makes me laugh just typing it) and the imposter was sent in to collect it by raising the rent. Oddly, there was no lock and load montage or a vehicle-building montage; the dream skipped directly ahead to the final battle, where Hannibal and I took on the Don in a two-against one fistfight that ended with me kicking him over a table. We found Mr. Landlord stashed in a closet and rescue him afterwards, and while watching the mobsters get hauled off to jail, we all reminisce on how we love it when a plan comes together. The dream ended shortly after with me watching them drive away, only to be suddenly pursued by Col. Decker.

I guess you could say the city got...

...throttled
I can't wait for the sweet release of death

Regarding the thread, the other night I recall having a dream where I was at my friend's grandparents house. I walked into their guest room and I happened to notice a very large, very old TV. When I turned it on, I realized that the TV displayed past events as they happened. Mainly disasters, such as nuclear meltdowns and hurricanes. Near the end of the dream, I got greedy and stole the TV for my self. I plugged into an outlet on my garage. When I did, a green couch appeared behind me, but the TV simply showed a static image. I proceeded to stare at the static for the remainder of the dream.

Rather odd.

Some friends and I were innawoods and we came across some kind of native reserve. There were these four totem-like statues that stood six feet tall at the entrance of the reserve, and when we left, we noticed that the statues were watching us do so.

While walking home, we all start melting as a result of some random-ass curse typically associated with such creepypastas places. I managed to reach my house's front door, which was enough to undo the curse, or whatever.

Later, I decide to explore another forest and encounter a friendly doggo (I think it was a doberman), who became my trusty companion. As we're about to take a left turn down the nature trail, the doberman starts growling and pulling on my shirt. Taking the hint, I decided to head back.
