Pokémon Discussion / Generation 1 immunities

I notice that non-damaging moves in generation 1 can affect the type that has immunity. For example, tail whip can lower ghost-type's defense. Confuse ray can cause confusion in psychic type. I have been told that thunder wave cannot affect ground type. I haven't tested this, but will anyone please explain this exception?

Hello,

As some of you already knew, I'm new to all this cool stuff. Your help is much appreciated. In the past few days, I learned pretty much everything about manipulating bytes in the RAM map through ACE. But it appears that you can do much more with ACEhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3EvpRHL_vk. I really want to know if I can make new Pokemons or just add more in-game event Pokemons. I can't bother you guys to guide me through all the steps, but I would very much appreciate it if you can direct me to the resources where I can get more out of ACE. Of course, a true enthusiast should learn computer programming from alpha to omega, but if you can help me quickly get to where I want, that'd be splendid. Thank you very much in advance.

I tried adding a second type to a Pokemon with only one type and the screen went completely dark. My game was not erased. After rebooting, everything seemed to return to normal.

I wonder how stat modifier works. For example:

Hi, I am new to glitches. I have read several posts but still have a hard time understanding this glitch. Any help is much appreciated.

On one of the posts, it is stated that I can use Gameshark code with this method.
