That sounds quite interesting so far; I have seen the "Game Pak designed for use on Game Boy Color only" message several times before but I'm not exactly sure what triggers it/

I think you can get the "Game Boy Color Only" message if you try to get to the Glitch Dimension in Pokémon Crystal...

Since Pokémon Gold and Silver reset improperly when they crash (which causes the glitch dimension), G/S think that they are being played on a non-color GB. That is why you get funky colors when the game resets instead of returning to GBC mode properly...

However, in Pokémon Crystal, they made the game compatible with GBC only, and any attempt to enter the Glitch Dimension will result in the "This cartridge is for Game Boy Color only" message. Also, the Machop/Machoke glitch in Vermilion was fixed in Crystal, AFAIK, so you can't get that message by doing that glitch there...

Yeah yeah, it's been like two months+, sorry about that.
But yeah, what I did manage to finish was the standard 0-9 10-20 type hexes, accidentally omitted the 0A and so on from the original, so they'll be done separately.
