Generation I Glitch Discussion / Re: Fake Glitches?
« on: January 18, 2018, 10:21:35 pm »
Lavender town syndrome.

One of the worst fanfics/creepypastas I've ever read.

There are also plenty of different "glitches/tricks" to get into the grass field beside Pallet Town and capture all the totally real Pokegods therein.
Yeah. It totally doesn't cause a warp to map FF and crash the game. Everyone break out your gamesharks!
2 shows the GS codes used and the glitch in action. Also, it appears to corrupt maps slightly even after a reset (Although it went away after viewing a slot machine) Why does this odd 7 symbol do this?
As seen in my video
Pokemon Sun And Moon Glitch Pokemon 1006
I was able to send invalid Pokemon into battle as well as hatch a 1006 egg using Citra. It appears to be an emulation quirk but I found it interesting nonetheless

Good news- my GPU came! I can now research glitch Pokemon! Im using Citra because i don't want my 2DS to get banned for CFW. Here is my first entry!
1006: Appears as shiny Bulbasaur. I try putting in daycare with a Ditto and get an egg! It immediately hatches into an Eevee with no name, which becomes a shiny Bulbasaur after hatching. Viewing it in the stats screen shows it with the name Eevee, and all blank stats. I hatched another and it appeared as a Beedrill in the stats screen, but it turned back into another shiny Bulbasaur. It actually worked in battle, but did nothing noteworthy.
Console verification needed.
I can get videos up in a few days
Generation VI Glitch Discussion / Re: Invalid pokemon "True stats"?

Try commenting on his video, he responded to me pretty fast

Fixed it. He also says he transferred gen 7 mons to gen 6 with PKSM, but that's wrong as the pokedex numbers are in the 900s
Since it has been documented that glitch Pokemon can be stored in Pokebank, now that USUM is out, if you put a glitch Pokemon with the index of Zeraora in Pokebank, does it appear as a glitch or Zeraora?

Also, when my GPU Arrives, I should be able to research invalid Pokemon :)

Happens all the time to me when doing corruption, it's kinda annoying though as it soft locks/crashes.
I would of shared, but I thought most people on the site already knew.

I messed up the link, sorry buT the title is USING GEN 6 MISSINGNO
Generation VI Glitch Discussion / Invalid pokemon "True stats"?
« on: December 26, 2017, 01:14:36 pm »
So, i found this videocalled USING GEN 6 MISSINGNO (lol) It's kinda cringy but the odd stats/name on the invalid Pokemon make me wonder if invalid PKHeX is giving the Pokemon wrong stats. He also states that these Pokemon were obtained by forcing a bad EGG to hatch, which hints toward corruption of some sort. Does anyone have any insights about this?
I also heard that they can be stored in Pokebank.
Side question: what happens when Sun and Moon invalid Pokemon are stored in the Daycare/forced into egg with PkHeX? I'd imagine the egg group would be undiscovered, but it would be cool to try
Debate Wars / Re: Do Hackers Ruin Games?

One of my favorite games was recently breached and leaked a lot of emails and passwords, including moderator and developer passwords. However at the same time I gen Pokemon all the time. So is hacking/cheating/genning bad? It honestly depends on the game.

Map 00:00 is very interesting, restarts, but the whole screen is blue. The cool thing is, the game is playable in this state, but you can't see anything.
"Pokemon" beyond the sixth slot are merely other, unrelated data being expressed as Pokemon.
I know that, that's why I said you can switch them with real Pokemon

Auto input is what's used in stuff like the DUDE catching tutorial. It's controlled by a few addresses. Due to the trainer being a glitch, it will take most of its data from unrelated memory addresses, (including what she says). In the video, you can see the trainer class is a glitch taking some data from the move descriptions or TM descriptions (Zap cannon comes to mind) and in the video the player uses a GS code to change the trainer class to a valid one in order to fight her. Back to auto input, due to it taking data from unrelated memory addresses, the battle may have been flagged as a auto input battle, or the memory address corrupted by the glitch textboxes. Hope I answered some of your questions  :)
