Game Boy Camera emulation driver - help?
« on: October 27, 2016, 08:33:46 pm »
Hey there, guys! I'm not sure under what category this thread should fall, so I'm posting it here at General Discussion.

I've been trying to compile TheZZAZZGlitch's Game Boy Camera driver, whose alpha source was published over 2 years ago (http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=6qvGgQrE), but I fail every time. I've downloaded loads and loads of header files that were missing and tried both with g++ and with mingw32-g++, but there's ultimately some shady error I simply don't know how to handle with. Did someone try and succeed to compile that? If so, could you post the compiled executable?

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried using the contemporary versions of the toolchain?

I don't really know how you could emulate this.
But why would you want to do that? It's quality is comparable to human s**t.
Unless someone found a way to emulate the swivel camera part.
I like shorts, they're comfy and easy to wear!

It's possible as TheZZAZZGlitch did it (and BGB has support for loading the ROM), so I think maybe spowell's question was how to get this to work.
Hello. I actually identify as gender questioning, but nowadays feel more firmly that I identify as female. My sex is male but I like to express myself as female.  She/her pronouns, please.

Thank you Myri for my avatar! Thank you Aeriixion for the cute sprite above! :) Roelof also made different variations of the sprite (which I animated).

It's important to always follow your heart, so unless you feel perfectly happy about it don't just follow something because it is popular, fits a style or is conventional. Sometimes you may reach a point you're not sure who you are, but as things settle I'm convinced things do work out in time.
