Pokémon Discussion / Re: Swift (Speed Star) in Japanese 1st Gen
« on: July 20, 2016, 08:16:10 am »
Can we just say "Swift is broken" and move on? This is ridiculous. 17 replies to a thread about a broken Gen 1 move? That's a lotof chatter about an unsurprising development. Seriously. I'd expect this for, say, a newly-discovered glitch, but about something we knew about since this place began? MAYBE 6 replies MAXIMUM.
Just don't post and gtfo.

I haven't worked at all on the Japanese Pokémon Stadium yet, I'll have to take a look at this once I finally submit an initial commit to pokestadium on github ::)

That seems unusual given the accuracy is 85% in the core games. I tried it in Stadium and the move missed the second time, although I don't know if the accuracy was changed. IIMarckus may be able to help because he has done work on analyzing Pokémon Stadium.
The moves accuracy were not changed, aside from the 1/256 fix which made nearly every move slightly more accurate than on cartridge as a side effect of the fix.

Swift effect skips every Accuracy check in international Pokémon Stadium.

I know that VBA is not the most accurate.
Yup, it has a lot of issues (most of these are explained on the GB test ROMs page on gbdev), it's best to not use that emulator.

Does Stadium 2 always provoke a Bad Clone with GS too?
If yes, I would try within some hours, I just have to reconnect my N64 >_<

The opponent side is filled of cards icons, and if you try to launch an attack, glitches messages appear and the game freeze.

What do you actually mean by "Cheap"?
I mean "too much easy to set up".

There isn't a cheap type, but there's several combinaisons which are "cheap", like Dugtrio + Wobuffet + Raikou calm minder for example.

Pokémon Submissions / Legendary Zapdos glitch in Pok?mon TCG on GBC.

Let's suppose your opponent has one Pok?mon remaining, with HP < 30.
Now put Zapdos in play.
If Zapdos Pok?mon power kill opponent pok?mon, switch off the GBC BEFORE THE END OF THE MATCH.
Switch on GBC, then choose to continue the match.
Look at your opponent's side now ^^

I tested this with a french version of Pok?mon TCG, around two years ago, but i never posted it.

Hello everyone!

I'm Froggy25, a french Pok?mon player!
I practice Pok?mon since 1999, and I do many tournaments in France, Belgium, Switzerland...
I'm 18, I live in Paris, and I can speak english just a little, so I apologize if I do too many mistakes.

I think that's all, and I hope to spend a good moment here!
