edit:Meet Riva, the home server, now with 1600x1200 resolution:

Runs on an AMD K6-2 400 MHz, 144 MB of RAM, 4 GB harddrive, Windows 2000 Pro, and a boatload of software, like Apache, MySQL, PHP, FTP, VNC, and so on. Oh, and it's got Google Apps for your Domain, too.

It'll serve Internet access soon, I'm getting 2 more Ethernet cards to turn it into a router.

And here's my new laptop, "upgraded" from Crapst- err, Vistaid-, err Vista to Windows XP.
It's got the Flyakite OSX visual pack (changes the shell, adds a Dock (mine's hidden), changes icons, and so on. Even the boot screen.)

And for lulz, here's what I made Vista look like:

Turning off Aero saved me over 70 MB of RAM on a machine that was already using upwards of 800 on its first boot.
(And btw, I don't care if my product ID does something uber-important on Vista such as some form of activation. I'm not using the license, anyways  ;D)

With XP, I have around 600 MB of physical RAM available and I'm using around 400 MB of pagefile.

Here's mine. My wallpaper is animated via Wallpaper Engine on Steam. I think the software was only like $5 or something -- definitely worthwhile. Used to have another background with Rainmeter, too, but this was just much prettier.
