Yes, I did mean it's the song I wouldn't try, I don't even know what a Flygon is, but seems like it did Fly away, and now it's gone

Pokémon Discussion / How to get the best of my Pokémon's stats?
« on: August 19, 2012, 09:03:46 am »
Hello, I tried many times to understand how to train the best way my Pokémon... And I never understood all the stuff about EV,....
So I wonder a lot of things...
1) I take two Pokémon level 1, just born, without Pokérus or being shiney. If I train the first with rare candies and then give it as many proteins (and all the things like it) as I can, would it be different from the other if I give the second the proteins before the rare candies?
2) after the use of proteins, is normal training (fights) usefull or not?
3) If I give a pokémon proteins and all until it is full and then I train it normally, is it usefull to give it a macho brace or a power belt, or will it have no effect at all?
4)what about the items we get on the two bridges of Unova?
Hoping someone will be able to explain it clearly, I already thank you

Great!! I had a green rattata from the twin caves in my gold, but the save disappeared because of the battery of the game... My first shiney pokémon that wasn't the one in the lake... I'm not as good as you, so I won't try...

I've got an idea: it's a bit harder, but has someone tried to do it at least after receiving the pokedex? The real problem is that if "the save is corrupted!", you'll have to do it again. But it will maybe allow you to go further and easier. Or maybe not, if the game is in such a mess, maybe the events you already have done (receiving your first pokémon, giving the pack to prof Oak,...) are reset... Is it possible to end up in a total different place than where you saved?

Unfortunately I haven't found yet a new yellow... So I just watch your results

Hey, what a mess it should be to do it with a japanese one and use the select glitch!!

Personaly, I am going to test it too(reading you all talking about what happened, it makes me want to do it!), when I will get another Yellow, so probably a french version. Mine is too precious to be "destroyed" this way...

But, tell me, if after having fun with this glitch, if you erase the save (select down B, if I don't mistake), does the game come back to a normal behaviour?

And... Up to now I though that any gameboy or DS game had up to 3 kind of "memories":
1)the data about the world, the normal behaviour, all the people, the things... What is going to be used while a game. It is what exist at the very beginning of a game's life, when you just open your Christmas gift! This one can't be changed but with opening the box and use very special machines. In the game(by normal use, when the box is in the gameboy), there is no way to change it
2)the save file that contains all the informations such as the position of the character when he saved, which people has been defeated, all what is in the bag, where is the character regarding the story,... This can be unique(in pokémon game it is always the case),but some games have 2 or 3 save slots(zelda, Final fantasy,mario....) an can be erased with a menu,or with saving  wrongly... And if it is possible to save wrongly, there is a risk that the games continues and that there are problems(such as in Gold Silver: how to begin with the 3 pokémon form the professor,or in Crystal: how to have a blue boy or a red girl as character)
3)the quicksave file that erase as soon as you open it, or when you refuse to use it in the main menu.

All that is what I though logically, but regarding your glitches, I'm certainly mistaking...

Hey! If your Feebas can't eat any pokeblock anymore, and if you don't need it necessary to be in your Emerald version, you should send it to a Heartgold or Soulsilver, and go several times in the afternoon to Pallet town to see Blue's sister, she makes the beauty go up when she takes care of a Pokemon, but you can't check the level of beauty, because there's no way to see the stats for this, as there's no contest. Or, to make it easy, send it to a Black/White and give it a scale that is said to be beautifull, sorry I don't know the name in english. It is colored, small, and it's given by someone in the Pokemon center of the town with deep sea.

But if you really need it to be in your Emerald, just make an egg of your Feebas and look at the television, when there is a "pokeblock master"(or something like that) in the city where there is the contest, go and make pokeblock, they will have a very high level, you'll end up with gold pokeblock. You couldn't do it with a ruby or sapphire.
So,is it fine for everyone?
I've always used second hand stuffs: I had a gameboy pocket, I have a gameboy color,an advance and a nintendo DSI,and I have a red,a blue,a yellow,a gold,an emerald,a green leaf and a platin!

Concerning it, you just have to make Pika KO,then go just next to the down right corner of the rune and walk straight to the left. That's all
Yes,with a Monster Brain, I made some pokémon with 0/0 hp,so they are and stay KO, and I give them attacks such as surf or fly and I make (always with the accessory) that I have the 8 first badges and I allow the player to fly everywhere. So when I begin the game, my mom gives me the poke...(how do we say it in english? It is surely not the pokematos, right?) but anyway, after I go out and I can directly surf on the right and fly to the league. There I fight everybody and win without to send a single pokémon... That's cool even if we don't earn money...
Yes, definitely, I discovered it first! Quite proud... but no need to run fast upon the zone
Ah,ok, I was a bit lost when I searched in the pages about glitch pokémon, but why is it "?????", I only see it has no name or its name is" ?"
it looks like the first one,but mine, when tries to evolve, looks like a red bulbasaur, and from the moment when I let it evolve into a bulbasaur,it react just like a bulbasaur. It has never had a glitchy appearance(but its icon in the team) like I see in the page you told me,it only looks like blank(in the stat menu),or the trainer(in a battle)
concerning Unown,I don't remember, I did it without to note, and I also put Unowns in my team before to "transform" them, I never had any problems with them. By the way, have you seen what happens when you look into the mailbox in your PC in a MonsterBrain file?

Hello,I would like to talk about some things I noticed when I used a cheating machine called "Monster Brain" that is a "Pelikan"accessory to put in place of the gold/silver in the GBC,and then I must put the gold/silver in the accessory. Well, this one says it only works with french gold or silver...(I can't choose what I will fight, but what I have). If you don't know the accessory I can give an image or a video, just say it.

First, I observed that when I choose to create a pokémon, firstly I have a list with the names of the pokémon, from Bulbasaur to Celebi, and after I can choose a number between 0 and 255. the only thing that change with this number is indeed the Unown's appearance. That has nothing to do with the gender or the shiney... and with the accessory, it is impossible to change these ones. I haven't had any problem when I used such a Unown, so I don't know what is the problem you say, they just look like some Missingno, but they don't change the image of what is in front or freeze the game...

A second thing I can make (I suppose it isn't considered as a pokemon) is something that has no image in the menu, when you make it fight it look like the trainer, I can only make females ones and it is a steel "pokemon". It has incredible stats... but its attack doesn't go to 10, even when it is level 100(I made a list of its stats at level 1,10,20,50 and 100,I can write it here if it interests you,but it is really strong). It can learn techniques with TM and from the level two it tries to involve into a Bulbasaur. When it tries to involve,it looks like a red Bulbasaur.

If I want to create one, I must "open an empty slot" in my team, I mean that in the menu of the accessory, it is said "number of pokemon in the team: (choose a number between 0 and 6), change pokemon1, change pokemon2, change pokemon3....." and so I open a slot but I must not go in the "change pokemonX(concerning the place in the team)" otherwise it becomes a Bulbasaur. Then I add rare candies or protein or whatever in my bag and I start the game. The creature has for the moment 0/0hp,no stats at all,no abilities at all, it is level 0 and its name is " " or " ?". Now I can give it rare candies or anything to make it come to life (proteins work) and TM (I've got a list of what it can learn if it interests).
I just wanted to know more about this creature, how else to create it, is it useful, is it dangerous or is it just like a normal pokemon...
