Anyway, if you look at the Chuck Norris Pokemon Card, although he has a lot of health, and all resistances, you are never going to get yourself that [Blah] Energy card use his round-house kick...

If you had normal energy requirements any energy card would work....(I think)

It's one of those no-energy moves that the kids are all over these days.
In my day, energy cards were all the rage, you used to trade your rare and shiny ones with each other.
Anyway, if it is a no energy card move then why has is got a little circle thingy.

Yeah, I have a question about my old Blue.
What causes your save file to be deleted all together? (Only New Game and Options are available) Afterwards, you can make a new file that is perfectly fine.
Certain glitch based file corruption just blanks out the save file or causes it to be so unreadable that it just isn't read.

I had this happen to me game after trying the ZZAZZ glitch and trying to save it safely. It didn't work :P

Blaziken obviously, as it is the only non-fictional character from the list. But if we are including the imaginary-non-existent ones, Bruce Lee is epic. See him eat his own blood...

I want to know, can you do the "dokokashira" door glitch in the Japanese version of Pokemon Blue?

Perhaps not via the 'usual' method because similarly to Pokémon Yellow the Japanese Pokémon Blue is quite different. For example, there are a number of dialogue changes. This is probably not a good example here but in the Japanese Blue game you can trade a man at Cinnibar a Kadabra instead of a Raichu.
Isn't Japanese based on the same basis as the non-Japanese Red and Blue rather than the Japanese Red and Green versions which are a previous engine. So "Green-specific" glitches wouldn't work.

Personally, I think you should do a virus scan before boot. I believe that AVG and Avast has a boot scan. This may get if before you run it. Alternatively, you could use an Linux on a CD or USB to modify the files (but that is harder work).

As your PC may be being replaced you could try installing Linux temporarily/permanently and try using that, just for a while. It may make your computer more usable.
Its not an easy option, but it may be what you need

My red I ruined with ZZAZZ Glitch (because I was determined to stabilise it)
My silver got ruined trying to get another bad clone.

This actually was before we had any use for bad clones, I just found them interesting. I think I found it ruined the hall of fame if in your party after defeating the 13374 (the coolest way to say elite four)

An easier way to do it would be to use the standard modifier code 01FFD8CF but turn it on during battle. It will modify the pokemon you are battling, meaning you won't encounter a trainer.
Not starting a code argument but mine changes captured Pokemon so there is no need to turn off and on.

Do you turn off during the Emulated save or the Stadium save?
I have never done it with stadium but I believe you need to turn off while the N64 game is saving.

It is possible to read the Pokemon from save data in red and blue, and convert them into a new style coding (eg. Action Replay, Gameshark, etc) Saying that, I have never seen any software to do it, it seems a bit overkill.

It is possible to adapt the VRAM to put second generation (or anything really) into the first generation. But it isn't permanent.
I honestly don't get the kind of recognition I would like for that.

Generation I Glitch Discussion / Over level 100 Pokemon glitches (RBY)

I have been on a trip to pre-glitchologist times and I have decided to post some glitches I noticed about over level 100 Pokemon. No, not that they exist. These at the time were things I could do, with no real knowledge of why and what. Now I have been reminded of them I can explain what they are and how to exploit them further.

Stable over level 100 Pokemon
I noticed that if you caught a MissingNo over level 100 (using the old man trick) and viewed it's stats while still deposited, it would turn into a Rhydon who's level would be over level 100, but more interestingly it would not level down after battles.

Unlike the title states, this is an unstable hybrid of MissingNo and Rhydon caused by the box system "Stablising" half of MissingNo's data. This does not go down levels because the experience required to get MissingNo to level 100 is a lot smaller than the maximum experience points allowed by the experience required to get Rhydon to level 100. The difference is so large that you can actually raise this unstable MissingNo-Rhydon hybrid to a maximum level of 192.
This actually works for gaining levels from 100. Because it still gets exp when level 100, it is possible to reach the amount required for level 101.

So how can we exploit this further? Well, this could work for any Unstable Hybrid which different exp requirements for level 100. As long as the apparent Pokemon (eg Rhydon) requires more exp then it will be able to be leveled over 100 (unless the difference is pretty small). Of course the best results are from Glitch-Real hybrids which doesn't always give you the best stats but some Real-Real hybrids will probably work.

Infinite HP
Well, it isn't really infinite, but if you raise a Pokemon without full health that is level 255 to level 0, it will then have seemingly infinite health.

This works nicely because level 0 Pokemon have as a general rule 10 HP, because the HP of the leveled Pokemon is worked out by Current HP/Max HP difference then if the difference is 11 or more it will go into negatives. As negatives are interpreted as maximum-number then the -1 HP will turn into 65535 HP.

Alternatively, if you catch something with a level over 100 (such as in the Old Man trick) and make sure its Current HP/Max HP difference is greater than the amount of HP it will have when it down levels to 100 then you will have a similar effect.


Well, there you are. An overcomplicated, late and useless pair of glitches.
