Generation I Glitch Discussion / Seemingly unprovoked audio glitch
« on: September 19, 2017, 11:39:18 pm »
I'm playing Pokemon Red at the moment, and for some reason when Gary sent out his Abra, Gastly's cry was played. This isn't the first time this has happened I just happened to have the page open. Why does this happen?
Generation VII Glitch Discussion / Curious about cloning

Any progress made on a reliable Pokemon cloning glitch yet? It's practically a tradition at this point.
Video Games Discussion / Game Genie for Sega Genesis
« on: August 31, 2017, 09:01:54 pm »
I just bought a Game Genie for Sega Genesis, and I've had no luck finding any codes myself (I did find a pretty funny one for ToeJam and Earl: Panic on Funkotron on some website, but that's just one). However, I noticed it doesn't work with the 6-pak. Could someone test that for me?

Edit: I got the 6-Pak working. I might post some codes when I find 'em.
Obviously not through conventional means, I'm thinking some sort of exploit like using Q for the Johto Guard Glitch. Has anything been discovered yet?
Video Game Glitches Discussion / Weird glitch in Super Mario Bros.
« on: January 07, 2017, 03:11:42 am »
The other day, I was playing a good ol' game of Super Mario Bros, and I made it as far as 2-1 when something very strange happened. See, there's a spring in this level that's needed to jump over a wall to get to the flagpole, but when I jumped on it, it just disappeared out of thin air! What's worse is that Mario was isolated in the air, unable to move. All he could do was a running animation, but he wouldn't move left or right at all. It looked like if I just sat the timer out it would've been okay. I ended up just resetting the game though, and it hasn't happened since.

The Dumpster Out Back / Weird game breaking glitch in Mario 1

The other day, I
This shouldn't be too tall of an order, right?
Some of the license plates say ATOZ 7 on them in this game. And from letters A-Z, there are 7 Sonic games on Genesis, counting spinoffs. They also have one that says KDR69, but I can't think of anything for that.
Video Game Glitches Discussion / Odd Superman 64 experience
« on: September 13, 2014, 02:33:26 pm »
I think I may have posted this already, but I digress... one day I was messing around in Superman 64 and glitched the game into limbo. Naturally I reset the console, but when I started my file up...I had up to Level 11 unlocked. However, I reset again and all the levels were missing. I don't know if this is some RNG I may have pulled off by mistake or if I got lucky somehow.
Generation III Glitch Discussion / Uproar Glitch
« on: September 12, 2014, 05:40:28 pm »
I was playing Pokemon Emerald, and I used Uproar with my Loudred, and so after killing the opponent, he leveled up and I forgot Uproar. However, he was still in his Uproar after I forgot the move. Makes me question the fact that Pokemon can only have 4 moves xD.

Not much else I can describe, if anyone can further look into this that would be cool.
Video Games Discussion / ProjectLinkCable
« on: April 20, 2014, 05:27:30 pm »
I need some support and sponsoring from GCLF, please. Spread the word, do what you have to do. I created a project based on an idea I had. I plan to make a USB Link cable that can connect the GB/A to an emulator. If I can get some attention and GCLF-wide support, much of that would be appreciated. I can't do it alone.

Website (still trying to tidy up) Thanks in advance guys. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to express. Or if you would to help the project, feel free to do so!
I was walking through Eterna City and an NPC was blocking my way...eventually, me and her walked onto a tile at the same time, and I was on the same tile, essentially walking THROUGH HER! However, as soon I tried to move again, she was solid.

Anyone care to explain?
One time, I went to gamestop and saw a gameshark for my GBA. I bought, realizing I could MAYBE use it for Pokemon FireRed. So, being 8-years-old, upon starting the Gameshark, I accidently activated the Japanese codes (Pokemon FireRed 1.0), which causes some weird things. The music was either distorted, a pitch lower or both. eventually, the music would just downright halt and play static.

I should ESPECIALLY note that the already creepy Lavender Town turns into a demon orchestra. it literally sounds like demons are singing.

If anyone can tell me the trigger of this, tell me.
Video Games Discussion / Game Boy Game Genie codes?
« on: April 06, 2014, 06:16:08 pm »
I haven't seen 1 guide on the internet showing a bunch of glitchy Game Genie codes for GB. If anyone can provide me with some/ find one, reply to this thread ASAP. For those that I found on my own...

Wario Land
A92 34B 33D Glitches map, makes Wario invisible on File Select

102 3C9 11E Messes up Intro, but nothing else

4DD 0B9 665 Pirate Gooms (pointy enemies) right walking animations are glitch, random objects appear.

Kirby’s Dreamland
901 23B DDC Keeps screen from scrolling, preventing progress.

Kirby’s Dreamland 2
00A 2DE 67B Makes Poppy bros walk under platforms.

I'm pretty sure somebody found these before me, and please don't be afraid to say so otherwise, but then again, I looked it up on Google, and nothing showed up related. Anyways, one of the glitches you can make Pikachu stand on a tree, similar to the regular cut glitch, but instead with the Pikachu that follows you. All you have to do is cut down a tree and place Pikachu where the tree was, save and turn the game off. Turn it back on, and Pikachu will be standing on the renewed cut tree.

The other glitch is also similar to the cut glitch, except with the tall grass instead of the tree.

Thank you for reading this, and I hope THIS time I might've found something out IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN
