Video Games Discussion / Capcom is kinda lazy
« on: April 07, 2010, 07:27:37 pm »
In MM9, protoman could charge but could only have 2 shots on screen at once. If he had the proto (Whatever the spring   thing was called) or the proto jet, once the proto whatever or proto jet was deployed, he couldn't charge but could have 3 shots on screen at once(You can shoot while they are deployed)
In mm10, that remains, but it effects bass to some extent aswell. When bass uses treble boost with no energy, he can't aim anywere, but can move while shooting. He doesn't do half damage either, nor does he have the machine gun bass buster.

The Dumpster Out Back / Re: Vista Troubles

At the moment, I'm saving what I can and may have to do the system recovery. Everytime I own a Windows-based System I always get something wrong with it. My original stuff is still on my parent's computer, but a lot has changed since so I've sent most of my stuff (what I could save) to my Hotmail address, and hope this works. I've had to uninstalled avast (it's gotten turned off and refuses to turn back on, and won't even run in Safe Mode)
Let's try to fix this, shall we? YOu might not have to do a restore

Video Games Discussion / TLoZ:WW glitch:Reviving kalle demos, does it work?
« on: December 31, 2009, 01:59:37 am »
I read in the comments of a youtube video of reviving kale demos using AR(Moonjump code + Super hookshot code + HAve hookshot code). It said that if you kill kalle demos using your boomerang(By shooting it inside the flower so it hits the boss), The same thing will happen as in the video. Can anyone confirm this? Said video is here:

Computers and Technology Discussion / First iPhone Worm Found
« on: November 14, 2009, 04:02:22 am »
We have located the first iPhone worm, dubbed as Ikee. It's currently spreading in the wild, but it's only able to infect devices that have been "jailbroken" by their owners. Jailbreaking removes iPhone's protection mechanisms, allowing users to run any software they want.

Affected users will find that their iPhone wallpaper has been altered to a picture of Rick Astley (of Rickroll fame) and the message "ikee is never going to give you up".

ikee iPhone worm

The worm targets users who have jailbroken their phone but have not changed their default root login password. It will search for vulnerable iPhones by scanning a handful of IP ranges — most of which are in Australia. At the moment, we have no confirmed reports of Ikee outside of Australia.

After Ikee infects a phone, it disables the SSH service, preventing reinfection.

To protect your jailbroken iPhone, change your root password. Here's how.

The creator of the worm has released full source code of the four existing variants of this worm. This means that there will quickly be more variants, and they might have nastier payload than just changing your wallpaper or might try password cracking to gain access to devices where the default password has been changed.
Pokémon Discussion / It's not ar-see-us, it's ark-ee-us

Personally, I prefer ark-ee-us, so this makes me happy.
Generation IV Glitch Discussion / Giratina with the wrong forme's stats.
« on: October 10, 2009, 11:44:48 pm »
If you have giratina in a box, then give griseous orb to/take away the griseous orb from giratina, And then, before doing anything else, Put the giratina in your party using the move pokemon option, and then get out of the PC.
The giratina will have the other forme's stats. This may work with shaymin, but I am not for sure.

I haven't tried this with Platinum(It works with HG though)
Project "Phoenix" / Long article names seem to choke the wiki.

For example:

Trying to edit that article makes the wiki choke and try to edit a page that does not exist.
