Video Games Discussion / Favorite Video Game(s)
« on: June 05, 2008, 09:28:13 am »
(Could not find a post like this in this discussion board, so I made one.)

Here, you can tell everybody what your favorite game is. It can be for any system. If you have more than one favorite, you may include them in your post.

And, if you would like to recommend your favorite game for anybody here, please include what the game is like, and a bit of the story line (if it has one) in your post.

My favorites are:

Apollo Jucstice: Ace Attorney - DS
Pokemon Red - GameBoy
Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Wii
Mendel Palace - NES

I recommend Mendel Palace.

It was made by Game Freak in 1989 (their first game ever). It's a multiplayer Action/puzzle game. You push tiles, sending anything on it (you want that "anything" to be an enemy) backwards. If you push enemies into a wall, you kill them. Your objective is to kill every enemy in the room in order to advance. There are 9 areas (including the final one). Every area has 10 rooms.

The story (from Wikipedia): The princess has been kidnapped by evil animated dolls. In order to rescue her, the players must venture into each of the nine dolls' palaces through all ten rooms, defeating all enemy dolls along the way, including the bosses.

Ok, I'm back.
Wiki Discussion / Prevent posting in old threads

I was warned today for posting in a year old topic.

Now, while I admit I should have checked the date on it before posting, I have to ask the Administration, and whoever Moderates the Video Game Emulation forum why it was still open in the first place.

You'd think they would've locked it long before I posted. But they didn't. They locked it after I posted.

As much as it was my lack of common sense, they could've taken measures to prevent something like that from happening. So, why then, was it still open?
The Dumpster Out Back / Which Pokemon is REALLY number 1?

Watch this:

Which do you think is the first one?

Was Prof. Oak a smart f***ing guy? Or is Aerodactyl the first (my vote ^^)?
Watch this video:

I figured it out. While there is a way to get there, there are no Pokegods (unless Pidgey counts), no glitch pokemon, and no secret items there. Just Route 1 Pokemon, and a bunch of Pallet Town clones. I just thought I'd share this with you all.

Don't believe me? Try it out for yourself. But to be safe, try it on an emulator, rather than a real Gameboy. I've ruined my save a few times out there.

Also, this works in Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal. Not sure if it works with any other Pokemon game ('cuz I don't have the others).

Oh, and sorry for all the Phoenix Wright stuff in it, but boredom set in while I was making it.
Introductions / Hi.

I've been messing around with r/b/y/g/s glitches for awhile now, and came across this place in search of some to try out.

I'm a Youtuber, so if I find anything interesting, I'll make a video of what I found, and direct you all to it.
