Wow, now that's what I'm talkin' about! Very good show there. Would it be possible for you to get some screens of these prototype trainers, as well as try this on other games too? You'd be best off checking Japanese Red & Green and Japanese Ruby & Sapphire first, as they most likely cleaned the games up some when they made realeases outside of Japan and did the Bonus versions.

Come to think of it, a lot of those trainers seem to use water types. Strange...

FF is the maximum value a byte can store, and when a program goes over FF or below 0, it'll wrap around the index. In this case, if he goes above FF (or 255 in decimal), he'll wrap his money to zero. However, I personally see no point in doing, unless you wanna make life more like a videogame. =P
Debate Wars / Re: Nintindo DS Vs. Gamecube

I'll go with the GameCube, mainly because I don't even play my DS. However, they both lack good GBA compatibility, and both have some alright games. The one Sonic game the DS does have is far better than Heroes, Shadow, or Riders. I'd say the same thing about Mario, but there hasn't been a new game in that series for a while. And none of DS ones really count, as they're remakes.
AHA! So glitches can erase your game! *shot* But anyway, that is interesting indeed. I wonder why the game would use 153? And moreover, why does this happen in the first place? I know these probably can't be answered, but that doesn't stop me from thinking...

Keep that stuff to yourself. =P Anyway, I had a dream once, where I was playing my Sapphire. For no reason, it slipped outta the bottom of my GBA SP and fell right into a conveniantly placed bucket of water at my feet. So, I picked it up and dried it off, and realized all of a sudden it was a dream. So, being purposely stupid, I inserted it back in and secured it with duct tape. To my suprise, it not only still worked, but my save file was intact and everything. However, when I resumed, I found myself in an 8-bit evironment, reminisant of R/G/B/Y. Even weirder, all the 2nd and 3rd gen. Pok?mon had no real sprites, and were glitches instead. My Sapphire had essentially became a 1st gen. game. Freaky stuff.
um A bit of info here. the G/S/C error trap only works for glitch pokemon it does NOT work on nonglitch pokemon that have glitch attacks. I dont know what that could do but think of that I remember trying to trade a Haunter with a few Glitch moves from Red to Crystal and I got the error trap. However, the Haunter may've been an unevolved hybrid, and was counted as a glitch Pok?mon, but I'm not sure.
Video Games Discussion / Re: OMG! GLITCH CITY! IN ZELDA II

Well duh. It's possible to make an astronomical number of these glitches in any game by pointing the game to an unrelated piece of information and making it handle it as layout data. For instance, I could make a "GlitchZone" in a Sonic game by making the level layout pointer of a zone point to some random spot in the ROM. Presto! Glitchy, unplayable Green Hill (or whatever I decided to use).

6. Then I actually got to fight it! I defeated it with one blow, and when I exited from the battle, there were many Ashes along with a few other characters walking around the screen! O_o
The kid in R/B/Y is not Ash. Rather, the lead character in the anim? series was based around him (I don't know whether or not 4Kids called him Ash when they dubbed, or if the official people behind the show decided that). The only official name he's been given was Red, in G/S/C (not applicable to the FR/LG male). Likewise the R/B/Y rival is not Gary, but instead Blue (although Stzdium 1 referred to him as Rival, but they may've just been trying to be ambiguous). Sorry to rant on about that, but I had to get it off my chest, as it's been bugging me for a while now.

Anyway, I've encountered Yellow Missingno. before, and it's not "harmful" at all (well, not permanantly, anyway). IIRC, flying away to a city fixed the severe graphical problems going on in the feild for me. However, I currently didn't have any balls (the catching ones, mind you =P), so I did not get a chance to capture it, and can not verify safety if it is caught, although I theorize it should be fine to do so. I may get off my lazy ass and do it eventually, but at the moment, I'm more concerned about finding out if Red/Green's glitches are different from JPN Blue/US Red & Blue's.
So, what's this "ZZAZZ Trick" I've been hearing about? I've seen it mentioned a couple of times before, but the main site says nothing about it. I've used Search Engine as well as looked through myself,  but found nothing helpful. In fact, I don't think I've even heard of ZZAZZ in the first place. So, who is he, is he obtainable without Gameshark, and what's with the trick associated with him?

Screw the dub. 4Kids makes it horrible. If I actually watched the show, I'd probably get ahold of fan-subs of the thing. Let them make it even worse if they want, I don't really care. (And besides, do you think they'll listen?)

Wait a minute, is the fact that trainers are also in those slots the reason why some glitch Pok?mon can't be obtained via the Ditto trick? Like, the game wants to load the trainer instead of the Pok?mon. I've been wandering about this for a while now.

The person that put the "Sunny Town" thing is most likly the only person that says that,
but put it in hope others would call Glitch City a stupid name.

Glitch City > Sunny Town

Anyway, the fact that anyone can edit stuff on WikiPedia means that it's GOING to get full of trash. I used to go through the Sonic articles editing out all the parts that tried to call the Comics and other spin-off material canon, but I've since stopped, as there's no reason idiots won't go and just put it back in. The same goes for Pok?mon and other stuff in general. It may suck, but that's the way teh intarwebz work.

Besides that, WikiPedia ain't the law, so there's no real point in getting too worked up anyway.
Nice idea. Finally, typing ????? doesn't result in a stupid smiley. A bit annoying, sure, but a workaround around nonetheless.

I can't ... it always has 0 pp

I think I remember seeing somewhere that to use it, you need to use PP restorant items on it (Ether, Max Elixer, etc.), and healing at a Pok?mon Center wouldn't restore it.
