Debate Wars / Re: Riots

The thing about capitalism is that most people think it is so over-monopolized than it really is. Look around your local town square, and look at your local economy for experience.
My local economy is drugs, a Yamaha watercraft monopoly, and a Toyota monopoly.

So you don't buy groceries anywhere? Where do you buy car parts? Where is the local car garage? Local gun store?

Come on now.
Walmart (an ongoing monopoly attempt, i'm counting it as a monopoly because they're almost done), 30 miles out (or online), 40 miles out, 60 miles out.
Come now, gimme harder questions.

Well done. At the current renovation rate of important articles, we'll show the Bulbapedia normies that we are superior here quick. We're already even with them as of now.

Turf wars aside, great content. Also, is God Abwayax the only one that can fix that kind of thing?

General Discussion / Re: This place feels dead

It may not have a high post rate, but the quality of the posts are far, far greater than that of nearly all other forums with this kind of traffic. It's a niche forum in the first place, and the oldest games of a generation don't typically get as much foot traffic as something new does it?

It may be a week or more between heavily insightful posts but I still find myself checking the forums several times a week for new information I might have missed or don't know of yet. As a trade-off I think it's worth it.
Don't forget when the forum explodes over the course of an hour.
The community has a bunch of "core" members which are still active - many Distinguished Mebers, notably - but they aren't very active on the forums, so I understand if it feels dead.
Torchickens produces new videos very often.
There's also a Discord server which is still rather active.

Where is that?
Check General for "Yeniaul's discord server and rules"

From this forum post, this looks like an ARG. Let's go scout it out.

Well, I am on a disability due to mental health problems,so you can figure out just how "good" of a person I am ><
100% Certified Autistic. I know how you feel. But you can overcome. Neuroplasticity is a beautiful thing.

I know the string lenght rule, but I usually use editors, not mod rom by hand,so I assume people who did them know how to avoid errors?
A tool's only as good as the person using it. Plain and simple

Well... all you can do is leave now.

OCEAN MAN

I can't leave. The traffic is up to 1 billion and I'm just staying in a shelter.
Owow. Are ya gonna be alright? And do you have a data plan/cellphone?

Well then... we have our answer.

This link only works with recent versions of Chrome, but it's cool.

I didn't think about that, maybe the ROM I used was indeed a bad dump (causing the errors on an emulator) and my physical cartridge (being official) was a good dump hence didn't have the glitch on GBA SP and my physical SNES/Super Game Boy.

This is the MD5 checksum of the ROM I used on emulator.
6C124C8C7FBF7D330EBC2F06DAD7E270

DAT-o-MATIC says this is a trusted dump, but with the information now maybe that was a false positive.

Actually, it seems as if that ROM is a bad dump.
DAT-o-MATIC says that two dumps were made in 2014 and both have MD5 hash of 3029C962C483DF174FC6F5C9202326E3.

Welp. My tests are out the window too, then. I have Torchicken's hash.

Maybe it only works on normal Game Boys, like that glitch where the player's sprite gets corrupted when using an Escape Rope?
I tested in BGB in CGB mode, and it's present.
I tried but it yielded no valid result (now I get why, I typo'd the name)
This didn't work on my GBC, and Torchickens mentioned it didn't work on her GBA SP, so I believe the cart was faulty.
The glitch doesn't work? In that case, BGB is s**t, VBA rules, and everyone's dead.
Seriously though, if even BGB fucks it up at 99.97% or so accuracy, there's something horribly wrong.

I also tried a friend's flashcart on his GBA SP, and it was present there, albeit inconsistent.
I'm assuming you mean a GB(C) flashcart like the old parallel-port ones from Bung?
It's some weird-ass GBA cart... "GBA Movie player" or some such. Takes those stupid fucking CompactFlash cards. He's got an 8MB... drive? card? in it, but he says it takes max. 256MB ones, and he can't find one that size.
Looks like this, but the card's flush with the cart end.

Has anyone given any thought to how international glitch Pokémon would be documented on the wiki?
Format-wise? Just add an extra column for language/version, or have the "GlitchDex" link go to a disamb with the different languages/versions on it.
Otherwise, document them like the rest.
