Emulation & ROM Hacking / Re: D/P glitch pokemon
« on: February 04, 2008, 01:03:36 am »
Yeah, I forgot to mention that the wild glitch was.... up. Too bad you can't catch it (apparently it's impossible to aim in a double battle.) As well, too bad you can't give it some hp and then KO the normal one.

Emulation & ROM Hacking / D/P glitch pokemon
« on: February 03, 2008, 11:02:16 am »
I should've posted this earlier... Anyways, this is very simple.
1. Find a person who follows you around in a cave, etc.
2. Walk on water (using a cheat code.) You can leave them behind and exit the cave to find water.

Sorry about the lack of pictures. Here's what should happen: When a wild pokemon appears, there is also a glitch pokemon with it. Two of you (your trainer sprite) appear, the lefthand one sends out your normal pokemon, the other sends out a glitch identical to the wild one. The glitch is square, white, and always shiny.
P.S. If this has already been discovered, please say so.

Misc Project Caspar Submissions / Re: Spyro 3 Glitches: Project Caspar

I tested this, but did not work on my game(this is for Year of the Dragon.) Nevertheless, I must say that Enter the Dragonfly was insanely glitchy(at one point all the arms of the ninja dudes in the dojo area turned into long black polygons.), but I've heard it was fine for other people  :???:.Post more if you find any, and test this for yourself.

Video Games Discussion / Re: Those Games That Screw With Your Mind
« on: November 08, 2007, 06:33:49 pm »
Actually, what blew my mind there was when the bad guys actually attack you directly with a Pokemon and knock you out. I mean, why don't they do that more often? :P

For that matter, the biggest shock is that it has a good plot :O

Have you played the first Gamecube Shadow Pokemon game? I think the top boss there is the evilest Pokemon villian ever.
He is the most evil, isn't he!?

He was rather evil, yes. If they put that Pokemon episode that caused people to have seizures on GBA video, tHAT would be a game that screwed with your mind. Alas, they didn't.

General Discussion / Re: I had the strangest...

This may seem very odd, but it went something like this: *In hacked pokemon game, walks from pizzeria to top of wall on which rests a globe encircled in a golden chain, walks into the globe..* OMG! MY GAME IS GLITCHING UP!!11there is a random NONEXISTANT SPRITE OF A RAYQUAZA AND ITS MINE!!!11 *recurring part of dream starts, am walking up a VERY large slope in a cave, slope is similar to the side of the mountain in pokemon diamond, approachs area with 3 rocks, picks up an item...* Ah, so that Crobat over there is guarding the exit, I remember this... *defeats crobats, dream ends*

Most of my dreams are similar to this.

Actually, all I remember was this guy named jacob and drew glitchmast. Maybe there was a DOC. I should know; I was being impersonated a lot, for some twisted reason.

My second grade wasn't QUITE so violent.

I was scared when I tried the pokemon emerald cloning trick, and went pale when it said my game was corrupted. Missingno freaked me out at first (I had had the same fascination/fear of it that Ebola scientists have of Ebola), and the ghosts in the Lavender Tower were a bit freaky too.

In the mansion in the forest (where you find Rotom), sometimes when you pass through certain areas a ghost person will appear randomly. Nothing else that special about them, really. I've seen the girl ghost, and I believe there's also a butler.

If I saw that I would've FREAKED

I suppose he took a game that he didn't like, unscrewed it, took the innards out, stuck the chip in, and VOILA! fixed game.

Good idea. It seems like many people visit Bulbapedia (including myself), so we might get a few more hits.

Video Game Glitches Discussion / Useful Metroid Prime 3 Glitch
« on: September 19, 2007, 07:29:22 pm »
Just a useful glitch, I was trying to beat Rundas (the ice bounty hunter) on Bryyo, I ripped his armor off him, then blasted him against the wall. He got back up, but stayed still and didn't do anything, so I was able to kill the heck out of him. Very useful.
