Google celebrates the tetris effect
« on: June 06, 2009, 04:35:53 am »
Google today celebrates the 25th anniversary of tetris but seems to be mocking those who have experienced the tetris effect with their new logo and alternative text which says
'Celebrating 25 Years of The Tetris Effect ? courtesy of Tetris Holding, LLC'

For those people who don't know the tetris effect is a condition people get for playing tetris too long where their brain starts to visualise everyday objects and how they are made up with tetris blocks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetris_effect which is almost some kind of hallucination where the brain can no longer get over the fact they are not playing tetris its a funny thing but in a bad way because Google are almost encouraging people to play about 9 hours of tetris a day

✿ Hi! I'm Evie. I'm a transgender woman, but any pronouns are fine. She/her preferred. ✿ 🦋

Please note:

While I'm one of the staff who runs the site, Abwayax is the founder and manages the technical side of the site (specifically the server, but I can do forum/wiki stuff if you like, I suggest if you do to make a thread about it to gather a consensus). Still feel free to contact me about higher site issues though; I will forward them to Abwayax if needed. :)

Forgiveness is timeless, and moments we look back on humble the soul.

Thank you Nyapon for this lovely artwork. :3
