Bonfire Night/Fireworks Night (Guy Fawkes Night)
« on: November 01, 2009, 05:46:44 pm »
It's nearly Guy Fawkes Night here in England or in other words - Bonfire Night/Fireworks night. I'm not sure if other countries celebrate this night other than the UK. When I was younger I'd go watch the fireworks, but now a days I don't bother but some parts of London have nice fireworks displays.

:XD: One problem. I never leave the house only to doctors/hospital/dentist/vet (for my cats), that's about it. I'd either watch the fireworks on the news, or from the window but trouble is, I have two nervous cats (rescue cats), and they're terrified of fireworks.

Funny thing happened here.

The wind was blowing.
The bonfire was burning.
Hot ashes were flying.
A guy got a little too close.
Guess what happened.

He got hot ash in his face and burnt his ear. Funny for all but him.

It was very funny to watch.

(Also, sorry I haven't been on much lately, I'm still trying to get a wireless signal here.)
