Advance Wars DS Glitches
« on: March 09, 2006, 06:46:07 am »
After a little Google searching, I finally found and tried some glitches in the Nintendo DS game Advance Wars: Dual Strike. I found that there is one true glitch, and one "trick" that you can do that isn't exactly a glitch.

The actual glitch is the Null CO Glitch. When you're on the CO selection screen for Campaign, Survival, or War Room, select any CO for your first CO, and leave the second CO slot blank. Then, select the same CO as the first one for the second CO, and the first slot will become blank. Start the mission. You will have a glitched CO which freezes the game if you view CO profiles or win/lose the battle. The theme music is Andy's theme music, and the face portrait of the CO in the corner of your screen looks glitched like a Pok?mon does after you do the MissingNo. trick. The CO has one Super CO Power that is always charged, and what it does is... freeze the game. Go figure. :P The CO also has no special abilities.

The other trick you can do is replaying a Campaign mission over and over to level up your COs. When you beat a particularly easy mission in Campaign, save to a different save slot than the one you used before. Your progress and EXP are saved, but you can replay that same mission again by loading the save slot you used before. This can be repeated indefinitely.
First to discover and name the following glitches:
* Super Glitch
* ZZAZZ Glitch
* Q Glitch
* Level-100+ Glitch Evolutions and Moves
