Bulbapedia article on this site
« on: September 19, 2007, 04:03:24 pm »
I've started one here: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Glitch_City_Laboratories. I haven't put much, but I would like people to add to it. Hope this goes well :).

Kind of on hiatus for the next few weeks at least, but I always come back and in the meantime would like to encourage discussion on how the site is organized so as to let visitors find the most useful info (whatever that may be) in a clean and efficient fashion.
I don't have a habit of keeping Discord open, so direct inquiries are still preferred through here.

Good idea. It seems like many people visit Bulbapedia (including myself), so we might get a few more hits.

I like how it mentions bluelatios but forgets about the people who actually manage the site

I edited it a bit to mention the fact that I created the site, but I want the staff to shy away from editing the article as much as possible because it could be construed as self-promotion, which is basically another term for spam. I don't want to be seen as using Bulbapedia to get popular.

So in other words admins can't work on it?

I wouldn't say "can't", but keep in mind that if most of the editors of the article are staff, then people might think we're just trying to use Bulbapedia to advertise. That's no good.

Except for two details:

1. 3D Realms doesn't let people play DNF while it's being developed
2. I haven't been working on the project for 10 years

Yeah, I guess so.
