That is absolutely stupid. It's not the DS's fault, it's lousy parenting and the kids themselves.

Uh oh, I never realized games like Nintendogs and My Little Pony could transform you into such monsters. Good thing I don't play games like that. *pats his FPSes and World of Warcraft* :)

I find that a bunch of bs. I've played video games, when I was 3 years old, yet I haven't "turned into a monster". Seriously parents, these days. Don't get them something "violent", at a young age, but I was playing Mortal Kombat, when I was 9. My late older brother got me into games and, I'm a gamer, for life, but that was just stupid. Kids, are kids. You can't "control" now they should do things. They aren't toys, they are human beings, for Ra's sake.

Four children sharing a single DS (at least the others can have more controllers on them)? She must've known it was going to end in tears.
Not only that, but games consoles are for leisure activities, that's why they're called games consoles, they're for games. Not for incorperating into your life as yet another routine. When you see everything she was trying to push them to do as well (and her "mother of the year award" she was so desperate for), it's not suprising her precious routines were broken up.

In short, idiot.

I agree. Some parents, are such idiots, it makes me laugh. Look, at me. I'm Autistic, I've been playing games, since I was 3 years old, and I maybe crazy abut games, but at least, I'm not out on the streets, to get murdered, raped, etc. I mean some parents, like her, are fucking stupid!

I still wait to see a persuasive article on the subject. Until then, I won't beleive a ****ing bit of it. Stupid choice to buy a handheld system for 4 dudes...get a GameCube or sum'm, something they can all use at once. My parents without question agreed that my brothers and I should each have a system.

I could go on, but...everybody sees the point.

...but Nintendo is where Mario, some of Zelda, and Pokemon came from!!  D:
meh, she's just a stuck-up b***h saying that nintendo sucks, and she also expected them to play Brain Trainer? *Rolls on floor laughing* WTF does she think? "My kids are superior and LIKE to play Brain Trainer!" BULLSHIT, almost no kid plays brain trainer, somebody gave me it for a christmas gift and I sent it to my cousin, who then uhh... "dropped it in the dog-water bowl by accident"  XD

*Off topic*

I see no problems with Nintendo. Some parents though, are just crazy, confused idiots. (No offense to any parents here)
