That was a bit rude. People make mistakes, they make mistakes. No one is perfect. I make a slight error is my typing sometimes, but I do correct myself.

I know that was a bit rude but I wasn't necessarily referring to grammatical errors but if the topic just doesn't have enough supporting info. I love deleting things if I don't like the way they look. Don't make me delete stuff because I will if I need to do so.

Also it was a lot nicer than what I wanted to say.

Can we make the wiki backround have the same colors as the site now? Like the gray white color scheme. That would make the wiki look a lot better. I'll get working on transferring pages over to the wiki.

I didn't think it was. I only delete things, if I find them dead/or just spam. I don't just delete things if I don't like 'em. All you have to do is correct/edit not delete the whole site.

I don't plan to delete the whole site. I just plan to delete bad quality articles. Don't worry, Sherkal gets to kick my ass if I screw up and So does Abwayax for that matter. The only thing I have to say to them is "Not the face!"

All I can do is glitch research, which isn't much. I would love to help the site, but what I can do? I'm just a 20-year old with nothing to do. *shot*

Meh, I kind of owe the site seeing as how I acted like a total jerk when I first joined the forums. Plus many people can start calling me a GCL patriot now because of how passionate and caring I am for the good of the community. Also most of the admins still have dibs to kick me in the shins so I kind of have to straighten up. *shot*

A wiki, huh? Sounds interesting; I might pop my head in every so often to clean things up if I feel inclined to. Better than just sitting on my ass never doing anything, anyway. =P

I don't plan to delete the whole site. I just plan to delete bad quality articles.
That's kind of dumb--you're much better off either cleaning it up yourself or marking the articles as stubs/needing cleanup. As long as they're relevant to "canon" (if that makes any sense in this context) subjects relating to Pok?mon, they should be considered acceptable.

Then again, I haven't taken a look at the content so far, so I don't really know that much... general advice, though. ;)

Thanks for the advice Tweaks. I'm actually feeling kind of nervous about being a QC and that actually eased me up a little.

Thanks for the advice Tweaks. I'm actually feeling kind of nervous about being a QC and that actually eased me up a little.

You can't delete anything though, you can only "approve" of it. Only staff (Sysops) can actually delete things (actually, due to how MediaWiki works, even "deleted" content still exists and can be brought back by other sysops. Technically the Oversight permission is required to totally remove something from the database). If you decide not to vet a revision, a staff person will most likely delete it. The QC permission is rather low-risk, that's why I'm going to be fairly liberal with granting it the first few weeks (and as mentioned before, any Sysop can grant or revoke the right).

As an aside, sysops have the QC right too, and I might make a usergroup that is able to bypass it ("trusted" user or something)

I think it is time I "delete my stupidity and naivety. I now feel better because I know what I need to do more clearly. This is probably going to be a joke for a while on the boards. Oh well.

You mean the GCL skin? It?s up there, you just have to select it.

Can we make it default? Just so it doesn't look like every other wiki.

The GCL skin is not default yet because it is still being worked on.

Hey, how exactly is categorization being handled here? I've taken a look at a few random articles and none of them seem to be in any kind of category. Is this just an oversight, or are people making edits simply unfamiliar with categorization?

I propose for categorization:

> Glitches
>> Major glitches

essentially, whatever glitches that aren't major glitches are minor/misc glitches.

>> Glitch Pokemon
>> Glitch attacks
>> Glitch items

don't know what Abwayax is planning for the Glitch/Attack/Item dexes. I say you could just do a list page for the index, and separate regular articles for each glitch pokemon/attack/item.

>Nonglitches
e.g. SS Anne truck, Box trick: quite intentional if you ask me. On the other hand, the distinction is quite fuzzy for things like Missingno. and Bird type.

> Lists
e.g. the biglist, glitch/attack/itemdex index page if you do decide to go with my suggestion above

> Tools
name generators, stat generator, etc.

> Generation I
> Generation II
> Generation III
> Generation IV

all ingame stuff, glitch and nonglitch, will also be categorized by generation.
no need to have a separate category for every single combination (Gen I glitches, Gen I major glitches, Gen I nonglitches, Gen II glitches, Gen II major glitches, ... ... ...)

> Outside of game
e.g. Gameshark, VBA, cheating device
