Having a bit of a problem with LeafGreen GS Codes on VBA
« on: October 29, 2010, 03:08:19 pm »
It keeps giving me an error every time I try, and it's starting to really piss me off. Can anyone help?
Got nothin' better to do.

You have to remove the space in the middle.

Also make sure you're clicking the Gameshark... button in the cheat window.

Alternatively, download VBA-M, which is the current stable fork of VBA.

Well, first of all, what error message are you getting?  What ROM version are you using?  What codes are you using?

Axaj: It says INCORRECT GS FORMAT: XXXXXXXX YYYYYYYY or something like that, LG is I think 1.1, not sure, and I'm trying to use a Master Code for encountering Wild Pokemon.

Ketsuban: No, the codes I want are like this:

blahblahblahblah
blahblahblahblah
blahblahblahblah

I use the GameShark button.

You might want to link me to VBA-M.

He means you could have searched on Google yourself. xP Also, it sounds like the code you may be using could be a PAR or other cheating device code and you keep selecting GS, since VBA's error message says "Incorrect format."
