« on: November 08, 2016, 12:21:40 am »
Hi guys. Do we ever have tried sending MISSINGNO. to gen 2? Iam gonna try it. If its already done, then yeah, dont know what to do.
Love GLiTCus. Want to know more about gen 1 glitches. i know about modifying addresses :D. Want to learn more about everything about the Gameboy/ Gameboy Color. Favorite gen 1 youtubers are TheZZAZZGlitch and Crystal_ (is also gen 2 glitcher). Want to help people with finding glitches. You could think iam young, cus my age is 13. Just, dont think about it!

It will possibly transform into the Pokémon with the (Gen 2 and above) same hex indentifier as your MissingNo.

It has lots of chances to be deemed "abnormal" by the Gen 2 error traps. We had a topic on that somewhere on the forums.
But if the transfer succeeds, it will turn into some other Pokémon, but it will be more complicated than what Charmy stated, since the game uses a conversion table whose bounds we go over. So, yeah.

Yeah, for example, 4 4 turns into a Totodile.

Error traps will make the game refuse a trade if:

  • Your Pokémon is an unstable hybrid
  • Your Pokémon's level is above 100
  • Your Pokémon's type are not what they are supposed to be (with the notable exception of Magnemite and Magneton

As said by ISSOtm, when you try to send a glitch Pokémon, or any variant of MissingNO., the 1G-to-2G conversion table will  make it match with an existing 2G Pokémon. If the types or your Glitch Pokémon/MissingNO. don't match with the types of the given 2G Pokémon, the trade is not allowed. If so however, then it will transform into that Pokémon.
