Strange Audio Glitch in Leaf Green

I was trying to catch Mewtwo in Leaf Green when something very weird happened. I had my Raichu use thunderbolt and the sound effect got stuck! The game didn't freeze there was just a continuous loop of the thunderbolt SFX until i caught Mewtwo and the music changed to the "you caught the Pokemon!" music.

What in the world happened? There was no glitches or cheats.

I remember it happening in my Fire Red like you, possibly while in the Trainer Tower.

That's really strange! I never heard about that until now. I thought there might have been something wrong with my game!

I think I remember getting it on Ruby as well, so it's not FRLG exclusive, just letting you know.
